Helloooo! Here is Chapter 1! Sorry if some details may be a bit short. This is my first time writing a fanfic so I'm trying to go as in detail as I can but not bore you guys! Don't forget to vote, comment, and let me know if you want a chapter 2!

Harry walked towards the front doors of the castle and smoothed out his suit once again. He walked up to Paul, the castle's head butler and greeted with a smile.

"Hello Prince. Is it finally time to open the gates?" Paul said returning Harry with a smile.

"Yes, Paul. I am finally ready to meet my princess!" Paul quickly laughed at this and proceeded to open the doors to the castle. Harry looked out to see people gathered at the end of the stairs that led up to the entrence of the castle that was separated by tall, iron black gates. They looked elegant but also served as protection for the royal family.

"Paul?" Harry quickly said stopping Paul in his tracks.

"Yes, your highness?"

"If you could let our guests in straight to the ballroom that would be lovely. I will have my parents welcome everyone while I await for all of our guests to arrive if that is okay."

Paul simply nodded in response with a small smile and a furrowed brow. Usually the prince would greet all of his guests as they came in. Harry knew this but wanted to make a dramatic entrence into the ball once all of his guests arrive. He was a prince after all. Why not make a dramatic entrence like one?

Harry smiled at Paul and looked out to the sea of people that would soon be gathered in the ballroom one last time. Harry made his way over to his parents who were waiting by the ballroom doors.

"Hey! Would you guys mind greeting all the guests when they come in for me? I want to enter the ball once all of our guests have arrived. If that is okay of course?" Harry said with a hint of nervousness in his voice.

"Of course that's ok sweetie! Is everything okay?" Anne, Harry's mother, asked.

"Yeah everything is great mom! I just want to make a big entrence is all." Harry said with a smirk.

"Of course you do. Always one for the drama, my boy." Harry's father said chuckling at the soon to be king before him.

"Well I should get going. I'll make my entrence once all of our guests have arrive." Harry smiled one last time at his parents before making his way up to his room again.

It had been an hour since Harry last was downstairs. He could hear the classical music and floods of people laughing and talking. He figured all of his guests were here by now. He made sure to check his hair and suit once again before making his way to the ballroom. He took a deep breath before stepping into the ballroom.

Suddenly, everyone turned to see the prince and the room fell silent. Harry looked around the room and smiled. He was so happy that today was finally the day he would meet the one.

"Hello! Welcome to the Westport Prince's Ball! Tonight I will hopefully find the perfect princess to accompany me in becoming the new King and Queen." Harry's voice boomed through the large room.

"I will be looking for my new princess tonight but for now, let's all continue to have fun!" Harry said. He wanted the ball to have a fun atmosphere. In the end it was a party and he wouldn't want to bring the atmosphere down.

A roar of applause broke out for Harry and the music started to fill the room again. Harry made his way through the room, already spotting some people he would want to talk to. He was making his way through the crowd when he spotted a women in a lilac ball gown covered in beading and lace. It was tasteful, but elegant, Harry thought.
