By the time Sophie and the others reached the park, the place was a total wreck. Though it seemed like the civilians had evacuated, damage had been done. Trees were uprooted and fallen over, while deep gouges in the ground disrupted the grass. Even the bench had not been unscathed - it appeared to have been flung into a wall across the street, leaving cracks in the stone.
Standing in the center of the park was what had caused all this damage. It had once been just another rabbit, but now it was the size of a pickup truck, with a cannon fused to its back. The rabbit-turned-monster, the Chimera, glared at the approaching girls, unnatural hatred in its eyes.
"Oh, so you've finally decided to show up?"
Lumeni stood by the Chimera, a smirk on his face. He pulled down his visor to cover his yellow eyes, then gestured to the girls. "Hey, it's all five of you this time. What a shame. When Cure Jay didn't show up last time, I assumed she decided to quit."
Hien bristled by Sophie's side. "As long as you guys keep attacking defenseless civilians, I won't stop fighting you!"
Lumeni rolled his eyes. "How noble. I guess you'll be fighting the Children of Lux until the end of your life. And by the end of your life, I mean today." He turned to the Chimera. "Go! Kill the Precure!"
Rosie cast a glance over the other girls as the Chimera bounded towards them. "You guys ready?" All but one nodded.
"Well, uh," Sasha replied, "I'm not really -"
"That was a rhetorical question, Sasha!" Rosie snapped. "Ready or not, time to transform!"
Rosie, Hien, Sasha, Miru, and Sophie held up their right hands, each girl pressing down on the ring they wore - their PreRings. Just as the Chimera was about to reach them, it was knocked away in a flash of blinding light.
"Let's go!" the girls shouted in sync. "Precure...transformation!"
When the girls were done transforming, the light faded away to reveal them in their Precure forms.
Rosie was, as always, the first to announce herself. "Unbreakable as stone, Cure Quartz!"
Hien was next. "Soaring through the skies, Cure Jay!"
