Izuku gasped and looked at Tsukauchi with wide eyes.

"Where did they go?" He asked quietly with a trembling voice.

"Where did what go?" Tsukauchi asked back.

"The white dots on the ground. They disappeared! I need to count the dots!" He said, getting upset, grabbing his hair, his legs bouncing and he began breathing rapidly. Tsukauchi pulled the car over and jumped out, quickly opened Izuku's door and squatted down to his level.

"Hey, it's alright. Just look at me. You'll get to see more white dots in a minute, ok? Could you calm down for me? Breathe with me." He said slow and calmly as he began to breathe in and out slowly, with Izuku trying to copy him.

Izuku looked at him with tearful eyes and still erratic breathing. Finally, he let go of his hair and put his shaking hands out as if he wanted something.

"I need Bunny." He almost whimpered. Tsukauchi sat there confused.

"Bunny!" He said a little louder.

"Oh!" Tsukauchi stood up and opened the boot to retrieve Izuku's little light brown rabbit plushie with a pink ribbon around its neck, from inside his rubbish bag.

"Here you go." Izuku snatched it from the older man and held it like a lifeline. He slid down in his seat, bringing his knees up and rubbed his fingers on her ears to ground himself.

Inko watched the whole exchange with a shocked face. Tsukauchi shut boot and door then hopped back in. Turning on some calming music to let Izuku listen and hopefully fall asleep...

He fell asleep.

"How come he lets you go close him?" Inko asked quietly, a little hurt that her son wouldn't let her get near him.

"I think he trusts me. I'm not sure. He's difficult to read." Inko leaned back in her seat and pulled out her phone, texting her best friend, Mitsuki, about what had occurred that morning.

"Come on, Izuku wake up. We're home." Inko tapped his shoulder. Tsukauchi dropped them home.

Izuku's vision was blurry so he rubbed his eyes to get the sleep out, accidentally dropping his rabbit on the road. Inko went to pick it up when Izuku stopped her.

"Don't touch her." He said with a small voice. Inko stepped back from Bunny as Izuku undid his seatbelt and bent down to pick her up.

"Alright, I'll grab your bag-"

"I've got it." He mumbled while opening the boot and grabbing his rubbish bag.

"Ok..." Inko unlocked the front door and held it open for him.

Izuku still wasn't used to being so close to her. He quickly skipped past her into the living room. Izuku stood in the middle of the room, not knowing what to do. He looked around, thought of sitting down but decided against it.

He clicked his fingers five times and finally looked back to his mother, who was observing him from the bottom of the stairs.

"Would you like to see your room Izuku?" she asked with a small smile. Izuku slowly nodded and followed her upstairs.

"I haven't touched it since...you left. You can rearrange it however you like. I'll be downstairs making lunch." She said, glancing at him before walking back downstairs.

Inko didn't know how to feel about having Izuku almost scared about her being near him. Did she do something wrong? She hadn't hurt him, right?

Inko leaned on the sink, looking out of the kitchen window, just thinking about what she could do to get Izuku warm up to her.
