"Izuku dear dinner is ready," his mother gently shook the green-haired teen's shoulder, making him awake. Midoriya saw the hand on his arm and jumped away from his mother, she smiled sadly at him and stood up "it's downstairs waiting for you." she said gently and left the room. Midoriya quickly went to the bathroom and scrubbed his arm with a wet washcloth. He felt dirty after she touched him.

Without realising he glanced at the mirror. A look of absolute terror adorned his face, he saw the big deep scar that went from the side of his forehead through his eye and down past his lips. Midoriya couldn't help the ear-piercing scream that escaped his lips, inevitably shattering the mirror. Inko quickly rushed to her son with bleeding ears "Izuku?! Are you alright?!" She asked quickly.

Seeing the broken mirror scattered all over the bathroom floor and her son mumbling while rocking back and forth in the corner. Inko crouched down in front of her son stepping over the glass "Sweetheart what happened?" She questioned.

Izuku's gaze was glossed as he leaned against her shoulder. Inko sat stunned slowly wrapping her arms around her son.

"It'll be ok dear." She whispered to him, and herself...

"I don't know what happened! I was cooking dinner downstairs and I heard him scream. He's been stuck in this state since I called you." Inko stressed as Masaru glanced at Midoriya lying on the couch.

"Did he look in the mirror?" He questioned while looking at the broken mirror. Inko raised a brow "I'm not sure. When I entered the bathroom, the mirror was shattered because of his scream." She took a long sip of water "Is there anything you can do?" Masaru turned his attention back toward Inko "He hasn't changed since I got here?" She nodded.

"I think we need to take him to the hospital. He's stuck in a state of shock, his scars must've been too much for him..." Inko looks at Masaru in terror "Are you joking?" She asked nervously.

Masaru shook his head with furrowed eyebrows "I'll drive us there."

When they arrived at the hospital Midoriya was immediately sent into a room for tests, such as a concussion check...

"We'll keep him here overnight to monitor his condition." A nurse said to Inko as she carefully applied heart monitors to Midoriya's chest.

Thankfully the boy was still in a daze not realising she was touching him. Masaru shared Inko a glance "I'll stay with him you look like you need rest. If he wakes up, I'll call you." He put a comforting hand on her back, slowly guiding her out of the room.

"Yeah okay... please call me." She sighed, tired.

"Bring him inside Dabi, let's see what we can do with him," Shigiraki demanded quickly.

Dabi sighed as he looked at the frightened boy curled up in the corner of the van "C'mon kid let's go." He grabbed Midoriya's hand and gently dragged him out of his ball of safety.

"No! No, take me back home! Please let me go!" He shouted distressedly, yanking his hand out of Dabi's grasp. The scar-covered man ran a hand through his hair.

"Please don't make this difficult kid," Dabi sighed, grimacing as he saw the terrified expression on Midoriya's face "he'll get mad if you don't come inside, I don't want to deal with another of Shigiraki's temper tantrums."

Midoriya sobbed as he climbed out of the car and followed closely behind the taller man.

As they entered a bar-looking room Midoriya gripped the back of Dabi's coat as he saw the rest of the villains turn to face him. The scarred man put a hand behind his back, patting Midoriya's hand in a comforting but awkward way.

"Jesus Christ he's an ugly crier." Shigiraki chuckled. Midoriya let out another sob "make him stop crying he's giving me a headache already."

Dabi grimaced as Midoriya let out another choked sob "Follow me, kid."

Midoriya had fallen unconscious for three days after his daydream, everyone became worried when the doctor said he showed no signs of waking up. But, the boy let out a yawn and heard three sighs of relief in response.

"Midoriya are you awake?" He heard Shinso ask and he nodded in response. He still hadn't opened his eyes as he could feel how bright the light was through his eyelids.

"The light," he mumbled, "turn it off." Shinso was quick to flip the light switch so the short boy could finally open his beautiful emerald eyes. He looked disoriented after waking up and the green-haired teen was confused as to where he was and what had happened, it would surely take a while for him to adjust to his new environment.

"How are you feeling?" Shinso asked as he pressed the call button for a nurse to check on MIdoriya.

"Tired...w-where am I?"

"You're in the hospital you'll be ok."

"A h-hospital? No I can't be here I need to go home." Midoriya began to stress. Shinso looked at Midoriya with wide eyes as he jumped out of bed "Midoriya! You'd have to lay down and rest!"

Midoriya shook his head as he opened the room door and sprinted down the hallway as Shinso called out to him from behind.

Doctors and nurses were startled as a flash of green wizzed past them. Midoriya had somehow managed to leave the hospital through the ambulance doors.

He kept running until he didn't know where he was.
