alexa's pov : it was the day after the party and i woke up, surprisingly, not as hungover as i thought I'd be. we all slept over at Lily's and of course Lily being the mom of the group : she had breakfast waiting for us. the smell of delicious banana pancakes and iced coffee was enough to get me out of bed. everyone was downstairs prepping the table and music was blasting throughout the house. Lily's parents were rarely ever home as they were always on business trips— which in turn led Lily to become very independent at such a young age. i guess that's why she's the mom of the group. i was so lucky to have such an amazing group of girls be my best friends. ama was rushing to eat as she had to be at a meeting for chem club. yea yea we're not dumb. school was approaching and we all had our responsibilities as club leaders. see, we may have problems with boys and substances, but we also attend a prestigious high school. we were starting senior year this year and we all had to make sure we could get into our dream schools. mine was Barnard of Columbia. i wasn't stressing though as i had been leader of the debate team, editor of our schools journal, captain of the cheer team, manager for the soccer team... should i go on ? anyways, aside from college and school— the only thing on my mind right now was vinnie. was what he meant last night how he truly felt ? i mean what about ayleks ? SHIT. ayleks. after all, they are dating... were dating ? had he broken up with her after last night ? i wouldn't know as my phone was dead and i have no idea whether he's been texting me or not. the door bell rings and it's aaron. that was my queue to leave. i like aaron and i think he's perfect for lily, i hope it's like that for vinnie and i.

it's about 2 pm now and i just got out of the shower. i still haven't checked my phone as it was dead and i had jumped straight into the shower upon arriving home. my notifications start flooding in.

vinnie : hello... are you home yet ?
vinnie : alexa answer the gd phone.
