THIRD PERSON POV

The whole village was abuzz with excitement, they had just received news that the rest of the Kiarie sisters would be arriving by helicopter at the resort. They had seen helicopters before, courtesy of Lulu but this time was different. It felt like they were waiting for the royalty to arrive. In a way they were because the Kiarie sisters were responsible for all the development going on in their village. Ndoto had become a beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert as compared to the old dusty village it had once been before Lulu arrived.

Finally after hours of waiting, the roar of helicopter blades was heard in the distance and everyone stopped what they were doing to look up to the sky. It was late evening so most people were at home, gathering in groups as they cheered in celebration at the arrival of their saviors. They wouldn't be meeting them that evening, but it was still nice to give them a nice welcome.

After circling the village for about twenty minutes it, the helicopter landed at the resort, the blades slowing down to a lazy rotation before finally stopping. The door opened and four people filed out one after the other, two men and two women.

"We've got to do that again."Amani exclaimed as she stretched her joints popping satisfactorily.

"Not for me thank you, I am walking back to Nairobi when it's time to go back."Jeremy exclaimed kneeling down on the grass next to her.

Amani looked at him and laughed knowing he was not a huge fan of flying. Helicopters were even worse than planes for him.

"Quit whining you big baby, Isaac is a good pilot, we arrived here safely."Amani scolded him.

Jeremy looked up at her and glared but Amani was by no means shaken.

"Smooth flying hubby."Marini complimented her husband looking up at him.

"Thank you, it was nice getting to fly again, I'd missed it."Isaac beamed his blue eyes gleaming with excitement.

They four weren't alone for long as they were approached by Saldona and a few bellboys dressed impeccably in the resorts uniform. Saldona introduced herself as she shook all their hands, instructing the bellboys to take their luggage to their rooms.

"As instructed we have three cabins ready for you, all next to your sisters cabin."Saldona said when Amani asked about their rooms.

"Thank you, is Lulu back yet from her trip with James?"Marini asked.

"No she's not but we'll be expecting them back soon."Saldona replied.

"Perfect."Marini replied.

"If you'll follow me, I'll lead you to your cabins."Saldona requested leading the way.

"Lulu will not like this, she hates surprises."Jeremy warned.

"We haven't seen her in months, she'll be happy to see us."Amani defended.

"Remind me again why we couldn't come in two weeks during the unveiling ceremony like everyone else."Jeremy asked.

"Because we're not like everyone else, we're family, all this has been hard for Lulu so we're here to help her wrap things up. We were also due for a vacation."Marini grinned.

"I am blaming all this on you when she starts throwing things."Jeremy warned looking a little terrified.

He got along great with Amani, she was his best friend, he was a little intimidated by Marini since she was older than him but she was nice most of the time, Lulu on the other hand terrified him. She was very scary and not all that easy going. It was probably because they didn't know each other that well but of all the Kiarie sisters, Lulu scared him the most.
