We were off to Liyue Harbor, hoping to get Venti's Lyre fixed. We were hungry as if we haven't eaten in a week.
"Last one to the restaurant is a rotten egg!" Venti said
"Hey wait!!!" I was running hoping to catch up to Venti, I bumped into Aether.
"Oww that hurts...Oh-Uh Hi Aether!! What are you guys doing here? hehe.." I said awkwardly. He said they were going to the same restaurant we were going to. Venti was waiting for us in the distance, looking annoyed. We talked for a bit and he said valentines was coming up in 3 days.
"So, can I be your valentine?.." Aether said.
"Oh-uh I'm not sure.."
Aether's heart sank. "Oh that's ok.."
I felt bad for him, even if he was the ideal boyfriend, I felt something was..wrong. I feel like I wanted someone else to ask me, and that someone was Venti.
"Hey Aether, is it ok to fall for someone even just after a few days??."
"It depends, if you know "that person" special, just follow your heart. Wait...I have an idea!" Aether said.
"Why dont you take Venti on a date, tomorrow evening?"
"I guess I could." I said while smiling, I ran up to Venti hugging him in the back. And oh boy, he. was. mad.
"Uh-AH- W-What do you want?!" He said frustrated
"I want a hug! Come on dont be mad! We have some eating to do!!" I smiled at him.
Venti's Pov:
Wow....I guess I cant stay mad at her..
"Ok fine.." I said with an angry look. We waved goodbye to Aether and we went in the restaurant.
"Ill do the order!" She said to me.
"Hey no fair!" I said with a smug smile. "Rock paper scissors!"
"I win!" She said laughing. "Ok I want to order, sticky honey roast and a good quality dandelion wine." She said.
Ehhh?! But she doesn't even allow me to drink..what is she even doing?! We started to eat after our meals were served. I love dandelion wine, but she drank a whole lot of it more than I did.
"Hey I thought you hated dandelion wine!"
"I dont hehe"
I dont know what she's planning. We drank after some time and a thought came in my head. I should by her a present! After all we've been close?..I dont know but I've decided!
"I'm heading out, have fun!" I said smiling, she looked confused but she drank anyway.
As I was finding my gift for her, I came across a weird guy.
"Hey want to buy this potion? If a certain someone drinks it, they will tell the truth to every single question you ask them!"
It was weird but it was just 500 mora each, so I bought one.
"Hey do you have the perfect gift for a girl?" I asked the strange guy.
"Why of course, here! This necklace will only glow if it senses love, but I assure you it looks magnificent!"
Well I mean the jewelry shop is closing so I decided to buy it too.
"Time skip"
"I'm back! With a gift! for you I mean." She looked surprised.
"A gift??"
"Of course, here!" I put the aqua necklace on her neck. I also wanted to use the potion cause it was a waste. "Look over there!" I said while I secretly put the potion in her drink.
"Huh?? There's nothing- Anyways back to drinking!" She said while sipping the glass.
It worked...hmm I know what I want to ask.
"Y/N tell me the truth, do you...like me? As in romantically.."
"Yeah I do Venti, I fell in love with you since the day we slept together.." She said while not knowing what she's saying.
"No way...I was right?...No that man rigged it..Nevermind.."
The potion stopped working, but I noticed something else, the necklace was glowing?? But it only glow's if...No it cant be right. After all that guy probably lied. I said in my head.
We were at our room, I brought Y/N to the inn because man she.is.drunk.
I sit with her on the bed just watching her.
"Oi I'm bored!! Ooh I know!" She kissed me on the lips, leaving me in shock. I felt good, I held her on her chin and I kissed her back. She wont know right?..I mean she is drunk-
"I love you so much Venti!! Your just so fun and your always here with me!" She said, pulling me on the bed hugging me.
"I love you too...but I guess this will only last till tomorrow." I said with a sad smile.
"Awww dont be sad! Goodnight anyways!!" She kissed me goodnight.
