Mark POV

I was awakened by the cold breeze of air coming from the window. The darkness is still enveloping the whole sky as a sign that it's early and a perfect time to start a new day. I was smelling the aroma of the coffee when I was reminded that my flight will be 6 in the morning and I still need to pack up my things.

I was finished, ready to go and when I look into my watch it's already 5:30 in the morning and I only have a half an hour before my flight. The car is in full speed and the roaring of the car satisfied the deafening silence of morning. I am half running inside the airport when the teller starts to call for the passengers of America.

As soon as my butt touches the seat I fell into a deep sleep awakened by the mnemonic

"Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and all carry-on luggage is stowed underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins. Thank you."  we landed safely and I get my things and went out of the airport.

Welcome back to America, Mark. It's been one and half year since the last time I was here and I had talked with Kathleen that time. I stayed at the hotel just like the usual thing I used to do having hope in my heart. Yes, up until now, my heart is still hoping and wishing. Cliché right? I am still hoping to talk with her and ask many questions. Why I wasn't able to see Kathleen way back before. Where did she live? I am curious why she didn't mention her.

The project will start next month so I spend my first month exploring and took advantage to take some time to relax. I am sitting in the same sit years ago where I saw Kathleen and it feels like déjà vu. I was just sitting wiggling my feet and looking down when I smell the familiar perfume I will never forget. The natural scent that tickles the inner peace and put up my whole system into mess. I slowly looked up, shocked and disappointment is written all over my face. I laugh with myself.  My face slowly brightens up when I realized that it's her twin sister that I am looking into. I run towards after Kathleen and held her hand tightly. She turned her head and look at me with a cress in her brows full of unfamiliarity.

"What?" she asked almost a whisper

"This is Mark." me trying to help her remember me.

"I know. What I mean is you, holding my hand too tight." She looked into my hand holding hers.

"Oh! I'm sorry." I looked down feeling ashamed and embarrassed. Her laugh echoed.

"It's just fine, how are you doing?" she asked in a casual tone.

"I'm doing great. How 'bout you?"

"I'm good as well."

I looked at the bench I was sitting a while ago and offer her to take a seat and have some chitchats with me. I was so glad and enthusiastic at the same time when he accepted my offer.

"Are you having your vacation? Or is it for good?" she asked.

"Haha I'm here for a project. I am the engineer of the construction site in the Ford." I explained.

"How 'bout you?" I asked.

"Obviously I am not a tourist her. I'm currently living nearby." She pointed to the building I checked in. In the Villafuerte's Hotel.
