Today is Friday, and last night was amazingly horrible. I have feelings for Jake, which I realized when he kissed me. And he obviously has feelings for me...
I just up and left last night and now I feel horrible for leaving.

I wake up—a normal morning. But Jane was home and sipping coffee she had gotten from the cafe. "Good morning"

"Good morning Jane. How was your night?"

"Good, how was yours?"

"...good."

"You haven't been home a lot, where do you
Go?"

"I meet up with a friend." I slip on my loafers.

"Is that friend the nice, attractive, man named Jake I let in yesterday?"

"Uh- yeah."

"You guys dating?" She asked, her pale skin and brunette hair matching perfectly with her orange sweater and blue jeans.

"No, we aren't dating."

"Okay, have a good day." She smiles, dismissing me quickly.

"Yeah, you too." I throw my bag over my shoulder and walk out, closing the door behind me. I bump into someone because I wasn't paying attention.

I look over and see spilled coffee and a guy, in a band tee-shirt and ripped jeans, a brown corduroy jacket over the shirt. "My bad." He bends down to grab the to go cup.

"I'm so sorry- did you get burnt?"

"Nah, it didn't even get on me." He smiles sweetly, "Did it get on you?"

"No," I shake my head, "Who cleans this up? I have paper toweling I could-"

"I got it, I don't have a class, it looks like you do. Thank you though." He jogs up stairs to the upper floor of the dorms, probably to get a towel.

I sigh and walk to class, getting their on perfect timing. I sit down, looking at my phone to see is Jake had called, he hadn't. I shove my phone back in my bag and watch the class trickle in. I was going to school for business, I have finished two out of the four years I had. I didn't really want to go to business school, but my parents wanted me to start take over my fathers business.
That wasn't my dream; I have always wanted to travel the world and take photos. I always liked the way things looked whether they were trashy or not, I like to take pictures. I have a camera but I never have time to use it.
My parents would think that's dumb, and say that it's a pitiful job for the poor.

The end of the class couldn't have come any slower. I trudge out of the class with ten chapters of reading to do over the weekend, and a class in an hour. I sat at the tree, and started to read my textbook and take notes on it. My back pushed up against the bark of the big tree, my knees folded up close to my chest so I could read. The same ripped jeans as before stoped in front of me.
"Oh hello again." I smile.

He smiles a little, "You are Jake's girl right?"

"Jake's girl?"

"The one he's been hanging out with recently? Jake Kiszka?"

"Yeah, are you Jason?"

"Sweet! He totally talked about me. Yeah, that's me," he held out a hand, I shook it.

"It's nice to meet you Jason."

"So, what have you two been up to?"

"He's a bad influence, that's for sure." I move my book to the side.
