I stop by Mary's room again and give her one hundred bucks.

"Miss- I thought this was just a one time thing? I really don't need your money." Mary held the 20's in her hands.

"Yes you do, and you'll be receiving my tip every Tuesday." I insist.

She smiles, "I wish I could pay you back."

"Don't worry about it."

"Oh- and nice burn" she says sarcastically.

I smirk, "You think?"

Mary giggles, "He better be cute, I'm looking forward to seeing the man your dating...and sleeping with."

"Shh!" I blush, "I promise that he's cute. You'll have a sugar high from how much eye candy he is."

"I got my standards high." She sneaks into her room and puts the money away.

I leave go to my car, and call Jake as I drive home. Through the speakers of the car I heard the dial tone as it rang twice—then Jake clearing his voice before he spoke.

"Hello darling."

"That's a new one," I smile.

"I thought I'd give it a try, I kind of like it." He pauses, "Wait, are you driving?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to—"

"Don't call me when you drive, you could get in an accident. And that comment is coming from me... The person who is crashed their car three times—all of which were their fault."

"Whatever, I'm calling because you got invited by my mother to come here next week Tuesday for tea."

"...huh?"

"Next Tuesday, you, me, and my parents are having tea."

"No. I'm good thanks."

"Jacob Tomas Kiszka, they want to meet you."

"Didn't your dad like—not want to meet me or something? Does he not want you to have a boyfriend? Because I can fake it, I'll pretend to hate you if that will make me not have to go."

"No, he was indifferent to the subject. But you are coming, and you will just act like yourself."

He groans, "But I'm everything they hate."

"You don't know that."

"Considering your attitude towards me at times—I know."

"I'll come over, we can talk about it then."

"What if I lock you out?"

"I'll have to murder you."

He gasps, "Oooo, kinda hot."

"Goodbye Jake." I giggle.

"Bye hot stuff." He hung up.

I roll my eyes and drive to his apartment complex, locking my car three times to make sure it was actually safe, then quickly went to the door, pressing Jake's apartment number—which I hadn't noticed was seven. He buzzes me in and I run up the stairs and he opens the door at the perfect time.

He looks pissed off. His eyelids half way down his irises, which hooded them a bit. His mouth was in a natural frown that couldn't have been forced from its softness. His brows were slightly furrowed.

"I didn't invite you, they did." I jump right into the subject.

"Uggh," he groans "Why did you tell them about me?"

"Because they asked what's new and I accidentally said I had a boyfriend."

"I'd rather fly to my home town with you to spend a week with my family than go to one tea at your parents house." He walks away, leaving the door open for me walk through.
