When Niko came back from his meeting I was on his chair reading, I had finished a Disney movie and decided on a romance book.

When he came closer I got up to go sit somewhere else but he pulled me with him so I sat on him while I read. I stayed silent not letting a word escape, I leaned against him and just read while I listened to his steady heartbeat.

After all that we went back to the car and Niko is driving us back home. This is as long as I have gone without talking and it's driving me crazy but I kept calm and not to be talkative or hyper. Which is hard since I talk a lot.

The radio stayed off and sometimes felt Niko's gaze on me than back to the radio than focused his attention on the road.

"Are you ok?" I heard Niko asked and I nodded, he didn't say anything else after that, I focused my eyes on the horizon seeing how the colours clashed together as the sun is setting.

So beautiful.

I love sunsets. I had a cousin who really loved sunsets, she used to say this really cheesy saying: Sunsets are just little glimpses of the golden streets for heaven.

I remember laughing every time she said that cause it was stupid but it was after her death that I learned to cherish the sunsets.

"Lia," I snapped my head to the side seeing Niko with a concerned look on his face, I looked out the window seeing we stopped in front of the mansion, I opened the door and got out, Niko doing the same.

We walked inside the house and we made it to the elevators and Niko pressed the button once we got in. I felt Niko's burning gaze on the side of my face as he leaned against the side of the elevator.

"Lia, what's wrong?" he asked again, I looked at my heels twisting the ring on my ring finger as I chewed my bottom lip, "Nothing," my voice came out more of a whisper.

"Lia," he warned, "Are you hungry?" he asked out of the blue and I looked at him, I shook my head when in fact I was starving, I hadn't eaten anything all day, "That's too bad, I already had someone prepare us dinner."

The doors opened and the lights are dim and on the island there are two tall candles and a variety of food on the table, my stomach growled but I ignored it.

It smells so good in here.

"Come on, let's eat together," I wanted to refuse but then he might want someone better so I sucked it up and sat down next to him looking ahead out the balcony seeing the sky and some trees and white clouds.

"Do you not like it?" Niko asked, "It's not that, I just don't want to eat," I said looking at him seeing he has a mouthful looking at me with big eyes, I chuckled lowly turning my head and biting my lip to not laugh an ugly laugh.

"Lia, why are you being distant?" he asked I looked at him "This feels like our first month together, you're so tense around me, why? What did I do?" he thinks it's his fault.

"Is it about when I walked out and I got mad, listen Lia I'm sorry I just remembered something that made me angry but that's no excuse I shouldn't have-" he stopped, "I don't usually talk this much, see what you're doing, if you don't talk I fill in the space with my chattiness and I would really like for you to talk."

I managed to smile which I was reworded by his small smiles, "I love the way you smile, Lia," I blushed and that seemed to please him.

"Lia," I looked up at him "Please, eat something," my smile faded and I looked at my plate. "I don't feel like eating," I told him which seemed to make him upset, that's not good, I want him happy so I grabbed my fork and started to eat.
