~The next morning~
After everyone woke up and got ready for the day Kuroo dragged everyone to the living room and had them all sit down.
"So I called mine and kenmas parents-" Kuroo said
"Your making it sound like you guys have the same parents" Bokuto said amused
"Kinda they take care of us and we're basically family just not related" Kuroo explained
"What we're you saying though?" Akaashi asked nervously
"Right! So we can all go over there later today to come out to them and because Kenma was nervous about telling them, not about them finding out, I can tell them for us!" Kuroo explained happily
"...you sure your okay with that?" Kenma asked
"Of course!"
"I'm excited! But will Kenmas mom like me? I haven't met her yet." Bokuto asked
"You'll be fine I haven't met either of them." Akaashi told him "so are you guys positive that it will go well or at least not horrible..?"
"Yeah, their very supportive of my being gay and my sister being bi!" Kuroo said
"Their pretty chill don't worry 'Kaashi" Kenma reinsured him
"If you say so..." Akaashi replied quietly
~Later~
As that pulled out of their house they relized that Akaashi was extremely quiet compared to normal.
"'kaashi are you okay?" Kenma asked with a concerned look on his face
"Uh... yeah. Yeah I'm fine..." Akaashi said quietly
"Akaashi please don't lie to us" Bokuto said "we all know your anxious and we're here to comfort you but we can't do that without knowing what's wrong."
"It's just that I don't want to be the reason your family's hate you, if they don't support it, and if so you guys might hate me and-" Akaashi said as he was interrupted by Kuroo who was stopped at a light as he put his hand on Akaashi's
"Their not going to hate us and we won't hate you. We all love you and don't need our parents permission to love each other okay?" Kuroo reinsured him "we will love you even if they don't love us like we love you understand?" Akaashi was kind of stunned by Kuroo's words and just nodded his head as a tear fell from his eye
"Oh Akaashi..." Bokuto said as he reached over and rubbed his shoulder
"it's okay Keiji..." Kenma said quietly "it's perfectly fine and it's gonna be okay!"
"Sure thing..." Akaashi said back
~After a few minutes after that arrive~
Everyone gets out of the car and walks up to the door where their greeted by Kuroo's mom and sister
"Hey Tetsu!" Kuroo's sister said as they start walking inside
"Hey Haruki!" Kuroo walks over and hugs his older sister and mom as the other 3 boys walk in as well.
"Hey Ms. Kuroo, Haruki." Kenma says as he walks over and pulls Bokuto and Akaashi with them
"This is our roommates Bokuto and Akaashi!" Kuroo says excitedly
"It's nice to meet you" Akaashi says and reached out to shake their hands
"Hi Akaashi" Haruki says as Bokuto walks up
"Hey hey hey! I'm Bokuto!" Bokuto says excitedly and waves at them happily
"Hello guys!" Kenmas mom says as she walked out and heads to her son
"Hey mom" Kenma says and walked over to hug his mom before everyone goes to the living room and sits down
"So mom, Mrs. Kozume, me and Kenma have something to tell you" Kuroo said starting to feel a bit nervous
"What is it Tetsurou?" Kenmas mom said a bit worried noticing that there might be something a bit important
"Let me guess, you got Kenma pregnant?" His sister said to lighten the mood
"Haruki, your not funny. Anyway so you know how I'm dating Kenma, and Bokutos dating Akaashi?"
"Yes?" His mom said a bit confused "please tell me you guys didn't break up"
"No mom, we're still together but now it's not just me and Kenma, we've decided to date Bokuto and Akaashi as well."
"I don't quite understand..?" Kenma's mom said
"Are you guys Poly?" Haruki said confused
"Yeah" Kuroo said happy someone understood
"What's poly?" Kuroos mom asked trying not to sound rude at all
" well Poly is basically more than 2 people dating someone else, so I'm dating Kenma Bokuto and Akaashi, Akaashi is dating me Bokuto and Kenma, Kenma is dating me Bokuto and Akaashi, and Bokuto is dating me Akaashi and Kenma." Kuroo explained
"And this is not cheating?" Kenmas mom asked
"No because we all have constant" Kenma explained "cheating would be going outside of the relationship."
"And your okay with this Kenma Bokuto and Akaashi?" Kuroos mom asked
"Yeah" Kenma said with a smile
"Of corse! I love all of them and they love me!" Bokuto said exited
"Like Bokuto said, we all love each other very much!" Akaashi said quietly
"Well then I'm okay with it" Kuroos mom explained
"Me to" Kenmas mom said
"I really don't care if your happy" Haruki explained "I'm just glad you found your people. You and Kenma started your own little family and if this is how you grow it, the. I welcome Bokuto and Akaashi into the family as well!" Haruki finished with a wide grin on her face "Akaashi? Is everything alright?" Haruki said slowly. Everyone looked at him and saw his eyes overflowing with tears.
"Akaashis family found out before we could tell them and it didn't go to well. He might have lost his family so he might just be happy you accept us." Kuroo said before letting go of Kenma and hugging Akaashi who was still a crying mess. Haruki then walked over and looked at Akaashi
"If your old family didn't accept you, well you don't have to worry because your our family now. Okay Akaashi- no what's your first name?" Haruki said
"Keiji. It's Akaashi Keiji..." Akaashi said with tears still in his eyes.
"Well thwn welcome to the family Keiji. Here we will support you when you feel like no one else will."Haruki finished before hugging Akaashi one more time.
