They arrive at the treehouses just before five.
Louis looks around with a childlike glint in his eye, much like Joe has, both with smiles spread wide, sun speckling their eyes with gold.
They retrieve their bags, walking up the slope toward the reception building.
Everything is made with wood. And it smells like oak and pine, with the subtle hint of rain from the previous night's shower.
When they enter, there's a gasp and Harry groans.
"Show time," he mumbles into Louis' ear, hesitantly holding his hand out.
Louis takes it, drapes his other arm around Joe's shoulders and smiles sweetly at the people before him.
One's just a few years older than him, brown hair pulled into a high ponytail, green eyes twinkling, but not as bright as Harry's.
(He so did not think that)
She has a small dimple on the left, rose pink skirt fanning out when she moves forward.
The other lady is older, a few wisps of grey hair popping out from the rest of her brown hair that flows nicely just above her shoulders. Creases dip by her blue eyes due to her wide smile, bunny teeth evident of where Harry got his from.
The man is grey haired, slightly large like a cuddly bear, grey eyes soft.
"It's so good to finally meet you, I'm Anne," the lady with the red polka dot blouse says, bringing Louis in for a hug.
He hugs her back, thumb running up and down her shoulder. "Lovely to meet you too."
Anne looks down to Joe, smile getting impressively wider. "You must be John."
Louis chokes on air at the name. He waves off Anne's concerned look.
Joe laughs. "I'm Joseph not John, silly."
Anne quirks a brow, looking to Harry. Louis sees the panic that swirls through his eyes, body tensing up and the hand in his feels heavy.
"John is just a nickname," Louis explains smoothly. "One of his favourite films is Robin Hood, so we nickname him Little John from the movie."
"No it's not," Joe mutters back, brows knitted.
Louis laughs it off, turning to the other two. "Harold, sweetheart, going to introduce me to the others?" His smile is all teeth.
The woman with the pretty skirt, steps forward, looking at Louis at arms length before pulling him in for a hug.
"I'm Gemma," she introduces.
"Louis," Louis greets and he hears the whimper leave Harry's lips.
Before he can ask why he did that noise, Gemma's quirking a brow.
"Harry said your name was Jonny, though." Her voice is laced with question, concern, and something Louis can't quite pinpoint.
Louis quirks a brow to Harry, a smile threatening into play. "Oh, yeah. That."
Harry swallows dryly.
"Wait, Louis, is your last name Tomlinson?" the man asks, pointing a finger at him.
Louis nods slowly.
Gemma's eyes widen with recognition. "Oh my, God," she breathes. "The Louis Tomlinson? As in the one all over the news about his new EA game, Louis Tomlinson?"
"Yeah..." Louis rubs his neck, slightly feeling fidgety with all eyes on him.
"Jonny was a code name," Harry quickly interjects. "We didn't want any sort of press on our relationship, so we decided to use a code name whenever speaking to someone other than ourselves." He gives one short hah, after his statement.
