The Life of a Highschooler

Hey!

So, Ik I haven't posted in a while. That's my bad. But I've decided to start a new story because why not!!! And also, for my friends on Wattpad, It's been quite a long time! I've def missed you guys!!!!!! And for those of you that I know irl, def drop a msg in my DMs or inbox!

Let's just get right to it because honestly, I can't wait to start!!!

Hey! I'm Cass'Nicole! Most of you know me by Cass! Some of you might know me from DMS or Lakeridge! Or even Merit!!! (jsyk, if you're reading this, and you're from merit, pls lmk!!!)

I've loved my freshman year so far! It's great! I've gotten my own online shop! I've joined cross country! I'm a 4.0 student! I take all the honors classes offered for my grade! I'm the girl's basketball team manager! I'm on the student council, and I have a leading role in the school musical. (Fiddler on the roof! I'm Hodel!)

Don't be fooled tho! High school is still super hard!!! If you haven't heard of the "iceberg of success" go check the title pic on the top of this entry.  It's not easy at all! There are so many things that I have to do and keep up with. And there are soooo many late nights and early mornings... And way too many "I'm fine" s that get me through the day.

But it's fineeeeeee!!!

Cause we have bigger problems!!!

*ahem*covid*ahem*

Sorry, just had to clear my throat if you know what I mean ;D

Is it just the Utah schools that are doing distance learning again?!?!?!?

I lit hate it. 

During covid 2020, my city went on total lockdown. We didn't know it at the time...

But it started with the schools closing.

And even though I know that where I live now, won't go on lockdown. I'm having some serious ptsd. 

Because closing schools will lead to lockdown.

And lockdown will lead to layoffs.

And layoffs will lead to friends leaving me.

Then that leads to an empty workplace... 

So that leads to my family moving.

You probably don't understand everything I'm saying. But it makes sense to me and that's what's important. 

It's kinda funny tho because when covid first hit, I turned to Wattpad.

And now that it's coming again, I'm going back to Wattpad!

I'm even listening to the same music playlist again! Hahahahaha. It's not like I'm forcing these things on myself again! I genuinely want to listen to the same music, and write stories again!

I think that's enough, for now, lol.
