I... I understand...

They walked to Gryffindor tower together, sticking to the shadows so that the other students didn't see them.

Harry points to Draco, then to the boys bathroom. "Wait for me there," he breaths.

Draco nods, and slips into the bathroom unnoticed.

Harry quickly runs up to his dorm, and grabs his invisibility cloak. He whirls it around himself and lets it settle on him before leaving the tower.

He waits until someone leaves the bathroom before sneaking through the slowly closing door.

He makes sure Draco and him are the only ones in the room before he whispers, "Malfoy."

Draco jumps and spins around, peering around the empty air before him. "...Potter?"

The air seems to ripple before an arm appears.

"Hurry up and get under here before someone comes in."

Draco hesitates for a second, before grabbing Harry's arm.

Harry lifts the cloak with one arm, and pulls Draco in with the other.

Draco stumbles, and holds Harry's shoulders to steady himself. As soon as he realizes what he's using to steady himself, he jumps back.

Harry grabs Draco's waist, and Draco's arm is around Harry's shoulders. Harry's other hand is used to hold the cloak steady while Draco's other hand is used to hold themselves steady against the wall.

They freeze as they hear footsteps sound across the floor.

Draco can't see anything, so he closes his eyes.

Harry, however, can see, so he keeps his eyes wide open, and fixed on Ron.

"Harry? You in here, mate?"

Draco's eyes fly open.

Harry gives him a warning look, to be quiet.

"Harry? If you're in here, I'm sorry for siding with Hermione... I know it's supposed to be 'bros before hoes', although I'm still not quite sure why a hoe is a girl, but anyway. Sorry, mate."

Draco grins at Harry.

'Weaslby just called his girlfriend a hoe!' he mouths.

Harry's eyes widen, and he bites his lip as he tries not to laugh.

'Shut up! No he didn't,' Harry mouths back.

Draco just silently snickers.

Harry playfully glares at him, while silently laughing himself.

"Alright, well," Ron starts.

Harry and Draco immediately stop laughing, eyes widening in worry. Did he hear them?

"I'm gonna go now. I'll see you later, mate."

As soon as the door closes behind Ron, Draco and Harry burst into quiet giggles.

"Oh, Merlin!" Draco gasps. "That was funny."

Harry calms himself. "That's my best mate, Malfoy."

"I didn't say anything about him; I said what happened was funny."

Harry pauses, realizing that he can't find anything wrong with Draco's logic.

"Plus," Draco adds, smirking. "You were laughing, too."

Harry frowns. "At the situation, not Ron. You were laughing at Ron."

Draco gasps. "I can't believe that you would insinuate something as awful as that! OF ME! I am offended."
