LEYLA'S POINT OF VIEW

The view we had was indescribably beautiful as the sky started changing color while the sun slowly started to rise. < Captain Max > managed to get us quite far from Monaco and so we found ourselves in the middle of the sea. The limit between the sky and the sea was almost invisible to the bare eye. Silence has fallen between me and Max, but we could still hear in the background the chaos that was going on outside the control panel room with Lando and Daniel that somehow got Charles to sing the chorus of some songs.

Max was still holding me in the same position on his lap, but placed my hand under his on the helm in his attempt of showing me how to drive the yacht. Only his eyes could be now seen standing above my shoulder as he lowered his head resting it on my back. I felt his lips pressed against my back, but I calculated it was just for the sake of him resting his head.

Slowly, I started to feel my eyes heavier as they started closing little by little. Unconsciously, my head started leaning against Max's. I was so drunk and tired at this point, but everything was so delightful I didn't really want to fall asleep.

"Are you tired?" Max swiftly asked getting my attention.

"Maybe... I don't know if it's tiredness or drunkenness."

"I wanna ask you something..." Max said making me turn my head towards his, so he'd look me in my eyes. "You really don't know who I am?"

"Hmm... What do you mean?" I asked as my face showed nothing else but confusion.

"Who am I?"

"A very nice and funny guy I've spontaneously got friends with...?" I replied as I tried to get my words altogether. "Does that answer your question?"

"Yeah, it does now." He sighed showing me a satisfied look, a smile appearing on his face.

"But who am I?" I playfully asked him.

"My shining lucky charm." His deep voice spoke in my ear making me shiver as his face has been this whole time dangerously close to mine and seemed like getting closer and closer.

"MMAAAAAAXXXXX FUUUCCCKIIIIINN VEEERRSTAAAPPEEEENNN!" The voices of the boys shouted simultaneously as the microphone seemed to have echoed on the whole Mediterranean Sea.

I bursted in laughter as Max rolled his eyes in annoyance, but managed to display an amused figure in the end. He nervously ran his fingers through his hair.

"These fucking idiots..." He cussed as the boys didn't stop calling his name in what started to seem like a song they've made up.

It didn't take long for us to start hearing multiple knocks on the door after a failed brutal attempt to open it. It took me by surprise as it made me jump off Max's lap.

"MMMaaaaaxxxxyyyy!" Charles drunkly called Max's name as he was standing right behind the locked door.

"The suddenly not so boring Charles I guess..." I joked making Max burst into laughter as he got up and opened the door for the boys to show us some surprised looks.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Max asked after taking a deep breath trying to visibly calm himself down.

"Ooohhhooo... I hear some unfiltered Dutch accent!" Lando exclaimed making Max push him in a playful way.

"Shut up, rookie!" Max defended himself as Daniel hugged him keeping the same huge smile on his face.

We all went downstairs on the main deck just to find MacKenzie and Jasmine almost asleep. The music stopped and the microphone was thrown in a corner. The boys started to lay themselves on the rest of the available spots as they were visibly exhausted by the performance they've done all night.

Still, there was one more spot left for me and Max to sit that was almost the size of a king bed. I sat down as he collapsed right next to my side. I looked up at the sky that turned in a purple-pink color as the sun should've already been close by now. The lights of Monaco were shining in distance and I couldn't do anything but let my breath be taken away by the views.

Max kept on watching me quietly without saying a word as his fingers slipped through my hair playing with it. It didn't take me much longer to lay next to him. The waves peacefully crashing was the only thing that could be heard around us. A soft breeze ran through my hair placing it entirely on my back. Me and Max gazed into each other's eyes a millionth time today, but it seemed like neither of us got tired of it. He swiftly grabbed me by my waist and pulled me closer to him.

At the end of my first day in Monaco, I found myself falling asleep in Max's arms on a yacht in the middle of the sea, under the bare cotton candy sky.
