At the restaurant, it was nice, there was soothing bossa nova music in the background and the restaurant smelled like spaghetti. "Hi! I'm Janine I'll be your waitress for the night, will you 3 want anything, like some drinks or antipasto"
John said to the 3 of us, "let's order some calamari for the table
"I'll have your finest merlot" I told her "that would be the bordeaux merlot, and you sir?" The waitress wrote down our orders. " This gentleman and I will just have some water," Arthur ordered for John and himself.
Janine walked briskly away
An hour later and we were having the best time everybody finished eating and we had to go to the post office to send a letter  to Arthur's mom who lives out of town.
There was a sign on the box that read:
Office closed, put letters out of cathedraltown in this box
"Uhh, okay?" John said, confused
"Ehh, I'll just put it in the box." I said as I put the letter in the box
"Woah" I said, in awe as I looked into the box. "It's broken."
"Maybe there's someone in the back that can fix it," Arthur suggested. "Good idea," I agreed and we walked into the back room. We saw bags, upon bags upon bags of letters addressed out of cathedraltown.
They never made it out..
"Los Angeles, New York, Toronto. Well, I mean it makes sense that they never make it out" John reasoned.
"But when I send my mom a letter, I get replies," Arthur said, confused.
"Ok, this is weird. Let's go get some sleep" I said.
"Bye Sadie.." Arthur waved goodbye as we both walked separate paths home.
