*Here we are with part 2 buddies. There's gonna be part 3 too.*

Red Velvet may have showed up late to the gas station but that sure didn't stop him from arriving at the campsites before everyone else. The terrain of the campsites consisted of a road leading to the entrance, then going down a steep hill leading to a row of cabins in a grassy area. There was a lake across the road in front of the cabin area. There was a large forest behind all the cabins where people would explore and hike.

It was almost 10 a.m. Not too bad. Red Velvet had a head start in setting everything up, or at least he thought he did. That idea was thrown out the window because the Espresseleine family pulled in right after him.

The two kids, Cherry and Strawberry Crepe were passed out in the backseat when Red Velvet opened the car door. "Heyo guys, get upppp get upppp!" He said clapping obnoxiously. The two children both woke up and scooted out of the car.

They tried walking away towards their cabin when Red Velvet stopped them. "Kids, I'm not gonna carry your bags. Go unload them and take em inside the cabin. I've got to take care of everything else."

The two children nodded too tired to care about anything. They carried their bags in the cabin and set their little areas up, giving them more energy for the day. After they finished putting their things inside, Red Velvet comes in with a cooler. Him and Espresso are dragging coolers over to the front of his cabin.

Sorbet Shark walks into their cabin and springs with excitement. Cherry got an idea. "Guys we should go explore the forest to kill time! There's probably plenty to see!" She said while making her way to the door.

The two younger kids both loved the idea and ran to ask their parents. Espresso and Red Velvet didn't mind since they were busy. With that being said, the three ran off behind the campsites to the forest. There were small trails but not much to see until they stumbled over a cliff looking landscape. They were at the top, it wasn't necessarily tall but it was definitely cliff like.

"Woah, guys we have to check this out from the bottom! It doesn't look like a cliff, it curves in concave styleeee!" Crepe beamed. He found these kinds of things amazing.

"Yeah but how will we get down? There's a road right in front of it and it's too steep to climb down." Cherry asked.

They all thought for a minute before resulting to going around the whole campsite to find it from the bottom.

Maybe 10 minutes later, the Herb and Sparkling family pulled into the campsite with plenty of stuff to carry and unpack. The three boys in the backseat were already wide awake and ready to bolt out of the car. Once Herb parked next to Red Velvet, the kids opened their doors and sprinted out towards the lake right in front of the cabins.

Just then, Sea Fairy pulled in next to Espresso's car. She also brought plenty of stuff to carry in their cabins and to their fire pit (all the families shared 2 firepits. 1 for the kids and 1 for the parents) Soda saw his best friend and his little brothers by the lake and he wanted to join them, so out of excitement he ran after them. He accidentally tackled Gumball into the cold, gross lake.

"AH EWW DUDE! THIS WATER SMELLS TERRIBLE!" Gumball yelled trying to quickly get Soda off him so he could get out of the water.

"OH SORRY, SORRY! I COULDN'T STOP IN TIME!" Soda frantically yelled back while quickly getting out of the water.

Custard and Pancake were making fun of their situation and joking about them freezing to death. It was 45 degrees outside. Custard looked down at his feet to see that his socks and shoes were splashed for the older boy's carelessness.

"WO- EWWWW SODA LOOK WHAT YOU DIDDDD! THAT'S DISGUSTING YOU HAVE TO GET ME NEW SHOES CAUSE NOW MINE ARE STINKY AND YOU TOUCHED THE SAME WATER THAT'S ON THEM!" Custard whined and threw a fit.

"Calm do-oown little man it's only a lit-tle water!" Soda said shivering.

Sea Fairy ran up to the boys and saw the two older teens soaking wet. They smelled too. "What in the world happened?! I turn around for one second and you're tackling your friends into the water?!"

"NO THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED I PROMISE!" Soda argued, Custard pitched in by saying "Um yeah that's exactly what happened."

Soda just looked back at him and rolled his eyes. "Mom, can we just get towels? I'm actually freezing for once. Camping in January sucks."

Sea Fairy nodded and gestured them over to her car. She pulled out two towels from her trunk and gave them to Soda and Gumball.

"Hey dude you know what would be fun? We should ride our bikes down that giant hill to dry us off faster." Soda suggested and pointed at the hill.

Gumball's face lit up at that. "Hell yeah! Bet I'll beat you there!"

With that being said the teens raced to their parents' cars, grabbed their bikes which were either in the back part of a truck or attached to the roof of the car, and biked up the hill. Soda won that race by less than a minute.

Once they were both at the top of the hill they dared each other to go first, but neither of them would ride down. Eventually Gumball peddled as hard as he could and went speeding down the hill. "AAAAA, I THINK I WENT TOO FASSST!" He yelled on the way. Soda just watched in shock and worry as Gumball looked like he was going WAY too fast.

The pinkette surprisingly made it down the hill although he nearly crashed into the lake again. He just barely made that sharp turn before crashing. Now it was Soda's turn.

He didn't think of any concerns he once had because he was pumped and ready to go. Soda did know not to do exactly what Gumball did with the speed but he wanted it to be scary. Gumball yelled for him to come down and he did right after. Soda was laughing and yelling the whole way down and almost forgot to slow himself down at the bottom, making him fall off his bike onto the road. He just laughed it off and they went back up to go again.

Pancake saw what his brother was doing and thought it looked fun, making him really wanna try it. He wasn't very good at riding bikes but he didn't care in the slightest. He ran and grabbed his bike, ran up the hill, and joined Gumball and Soda. They were about to go again, still soaking wet.

Neither of them cared if Pancake joined, in fact they were hyping him up to go down. Gumball said he'd go with Pancake but he said no. He looked down at the bottom of the hill and took a deep breath. He was pretty nervous now looking down. Finally he sped down the hill successfully making it to the bottom, but also barely crashing into the lake.

He was only splashed by the water so he wasn't all that wet. Gumball was cackling at him while he sat there looking terrified.

"Never again." Pancake said in horror. He ran to Sparkling and told him all about it. His father glared over at Gumball who was awkwardly smiling at him.

He knew he'd be in trouble later but that didn't matter right now, so he grabbed Soda and ditched their bikes to go explore.
