When Jake dropped me off, I felt better. I walked through the doors of my house and was slapped in he face with the sweet smell of cookies I went to the kitchen, kicking off my shoes in the process. There was cookies on the stove, chocolate chip, my favorite. I opened up the door to he freezer and got out my favorite, blue bell homemade vanilla ice cream. I started scooping some in a cup and threw many cookies on top and headed to the living room to turn on some TV, when I heard a thump coming from upstairs, I set my ice cream in the freezer and walked into my moms room, and I heated the thump again. I ran down stairs, grabbed my phone off the counter, and burst through the doors, limping. Luckily I had my keys in my pocket, I jumped in the car and put the key in the ignition. I drove to Starbucks, once I got to Starbucks, I walked in and placed my order and completely forgot my purse, which meant no money. I explained that I forgot my purse and just as I turned, a familiar voice caught my attention "I'll pay for it, don't worry about it."
I turned around completely to face who it was, and what I saw made me lose my breath...
