PoV Flare
I got up pretty early this morning, seeing as I had no stream or plans today I felt kinda bored. I lied in my bed holding my Noel plush while staring at ceiling.
"Okay! Time to practice." Being a half elf means that I can use magic pretty fluently. Well in theory, to be honest I've kinda run into a bit of a slump. My magic isn't getting any better in fact I think its got worse.
After a quick change of clothes I made my way to the hololive building in which there is a colloseum in the basement. Its sorta like a space time manipulation area I wasn't really listening but its safe to practice magic there.
It was modeled after roman colloseums and had a large oval area for fighting or in my case practicing; and lots of room for watching the fight in the stands above the field.
I made my way to the edge of the arena and sat in a meditation position. When I medidtate I can go into my own mind and view my magic circles, right now I want to try and find anything wrong.
That was until two pairs of footsteps started coming into the arena. It was Ayame and Saiai-san the new member of hololive. I wonder what they're doing here. I suppose I have some time to watch.
Ayame pulled out both of her swords while Saiai-san pulled a sword out of thin air.
Ayame rushed in and attacked Saiai-san from the right with her swords next to eachother.
Clang
Her swords bounced off his blade. This time she went for an x attack. With her swords.
Clang
Once again they were parried. You never would've realized Saiai-san is such a skilled swordsman at first glance.
Their spar went on for a while with the same attack parry pattern. Eventually the Kitsune dissappeared and reappeared in front of Ayame with his sword at her neck.
"Ahhhhh." Ayame fell back and let out a yelp. It seems their done, I should get back to my training.
Fshhh
I created a ball of fire in my hands it felt a lot colder than it usually did. "Eh? what are you doing?" A silky voice asked.
"Saiai-san?" I jumped and turned around before quickly backing up.
"Oh please call me Rin. Anyways what are you up to?"
"I'm not really doing much." I lied. I didn't really wanna bother him with magic. He probably doesn't even know magic.
"I didn't really wanna bother him with magic. He probably doesn't even know magic." My thoughts repeated.
"Did you just read my mind!?"
"No you're just really similar to your mother. This really feels like deja vu. Your mother hit a slump and when I met her she had a cold flame in her hand and thought the same thing. Just out loud."
"You knew my mom?" I was suprised. I never really knew about my mom's past other than she was an elf who fell in love with a human.
"Of course I know both your parents. They always talked about you when they visited me."
"When did they have time to do that?" I remember spending almost my entire childhood with my parents.
"When you were with 'the pretty knight in shining armor' as your parents put it." He replied bluntly.
Oh. I felt my cheeks grow in temperature.
"About your magic."
"R-right. I can't seem to improve my magic. It feels weird when I cast spells."
