Emma unlocks her yellow jeep and opens the door for Regina. "I can open my own door thank you very much." Regina says, still upset with a nasty tone. Emma rolls her eyes, "You're welcome." She said as she closed the door and got in on her side. She couldn't help but glance over at Regina sitting in the passenger seat looking breathtaking. "Nice car, so you have a license? Or are you just breaking the law?" Regina asks, putting on her seat belt. She was a little confused since they were both in the same grade and she only had her permit. "Now before you get your panties in a twist. Yes, I have my license. The state I used to live in before we moved, their legal age is 15 ½. I'm a safe driver." She says, reaching over to put on her seatbelt. "Well sometimes." Emma smirks-. Regina fake laughs, "not funny" she says quietly as she sits in silence. "So, do you have any music or are we going to sit here in awkward silence." The brunette mumbles. "Are you always this snarky? Do you need a snickers or something?" Emma teases. "Ha ha.." Regina fake laughs. "So, you got any music?" She asks, taking it upon herself to start pressing buttons on the stereo. "Do you mind?" Emma says as she takes her phone out and puts on her playlist on Spotify that's already connected to her Bluetooth. She turns up the volume and the first song that comes on is 1950 by King Princess. Regina loved this song let alone the artist but she wouldn't let Emma know that. She keeps her cool and shrugs, murmuring, "Nice song." It wasn't long before she began to hum as the song started.

"I hate it when dudes try to chase me, but I love it when you try to save me cause I'm just a lady..." She sings.

Emma's eyes widened at how beautiful Regina's voice was; she sounded so angelic.

"Did you mean it when you said I was pretty, that you didn't want to live in the city where the people are shitty. I like it when we play 1950." She sang looking out the window.

Emma was captivated and mesmerized by Regina, but she didn't say anything. She didn't want to ruin this moment. She drove to a small diner called Granny's up the road. Emma was first introduced to it the night her family arrived in town. It was around 4 am and the only restaurant that was 24/7. When they arrived, Regina looked over to Emma with a raised eyebrow. "How do you know about Granny's? Regina asks with an irritating tone as if it was some secret. Emma took off her seat belt rolling her eyes. She grabbed her phone and wallet and leaned towards Regina looking at her. "I live in Storybrooke too, you know, for about a month and a half now. I even know where the ice cream shop is. Shocked, I know huh." she smirks. The next thing Emma was about to do took some balls, she leaned closer and was about to peck Regina's cheek. But Regina, playing hard to get swerves and pulls away as she opens her door hopping off the truck. She walks in leaving Emma behind. Emma scoffs rolling her eyes not believing that just happened. They both are seated in the booth in the back. Emma looks up and smiles softly, "I'm really sorry for today, it was stupid and I guess I just wanted to get your attention. I won't pull a stunt like that ever again, and I promise you won't get in trouble." Emma said in a sincere tone. Regina shakes her head laughing. "You're buying me food so we're kind of even." She leans whispering, "Just next time if you plan on pulling my hair again, make sure we're alone." She winks, picking up her menu. Emma was so confused but slightly turned on. She couldn't read this beautiful girl who was playing hard to get but Emma kind of loved a challenge. Emma bit her lip and could feel herself getting flustered; she needed to calm down. She didn't want to get a boner and ruin everything, so she grabbed her glass of water and started chewing on ice like crazy. The waiter came by, and Emma ordered a grilled cheese and fries with a vanilla milkshake. Regina ordered the same thing, but with a chocolate shake instead. "So, are you adopted?" Regina blurts out. "Sorry that was loud, but umm, are you?" Emma laughs, shaking her head. "No Mary Margaret is my mother; she just goes by her maiden name." Emma smiles. "Seems weird but whatever rocks your family's boat." Regina says, taking a sip of her water. "So, who did you ask about me and why?" Emma arches her brow, smirking. "And don't give me that we have the same class crap." She adds. Regina sighs, rolling her eyes, "Fine I guess I'll tell you, you're different and interesting, not like anyone else I've ever met. You seem funny, smart and cool not to mention you stay to yourself. You don't cause trouble. I mean other than the fact that you kept messing with me." She chuckles. "Sooo.. umm I asked my friend Ruby who's in your writing class, and she told me a little about you." Regina spoke nonchalant trying to act like a badass in front of Emma. Emma has this big smile on her face as she smirks. "Oh, I see. So, you think I'm cool." Emma winks. Regina rolls her eyes. "Whatever, don't let it all go to your head." She teases. It went silent for a few seconds. "So, did it hurt?" Emma asks as she was about to point to Regina's nose. "What when I fell from heaven? Really Swan? That's the best you can do." Regina laughs, shaking her head. "Ummm no... I meant your piercings." Emma tries not to laugh. Regina's cheeks turn boiling red from embarrassment; she bites her lip thinking of what to say. She really put her foot in her mouth. "Oh, umm yea yea, I mean kind of the first one did but the second and third not so much." She said softly, her cheeks still red. "I dig it." Emma says, smiling softly.
