That morning, Camila left Lauren alone. Lauren woke to an indent with no trace of what moulded it. Disappointment rushed over her.

Every time, she thought to herself.

She pushed the covers off of herself, hurrying to the door in hopes that Camila had just left, and she might catch her. Alas, there was no one.

Lauren looked at the clock, it was only 7 AM-

She must've had somewhere to be, Lauren figured.

Sighing, she moped back inside, put the kettle on and relaxed back into her bed.

But, when she turned her phone on, it was apparent Camila didn't have anywhere she needed to be. There it was in big, bold letters on her page.

PARTY AT MINE 10 PM, BE THERE!!!

Lauren seriously wondered when Camila had any time to herself. She seemed to always be in the company of other people.

The kettle began to squeal, alerting Lauren to make her morning coffee. Once made, she returned to her phone.

She blinked twice at the screen, as if in disbelief. Camila's RSVP list had reached 100 in the couple of minutes it took to pour a coffee. Lauren refreshed in case her phone had glitched, but upon reloading there were even more RSVPs. She couldn't believe it.

Lauren wasn't sure she even knew that many people.

Another alert sang on her phone. Lauren sighed; it was a friend request from Olly.

He wrote...

What's your address?

Why do you need it?

I'm picking you up for the party tonight.

Lauren rolled her eyes. She hadn't even decided if she was attending. She hadn't decided if Camila wanted her there either, her name wasn't on the invite list.

What makes you think I'll go anyways?

Because it's a party at Camila's, everyone's invited.

Not me apparently, I didn't make the cut.

She doesn't invite people individually, it's just a general invite. You're invited trust me, La.

Maybe Camila did want me there, Lauren hoped.

La?

That's a no on La then? I've been thinking about new ones all night.

Lauren giggled to herself. She allowed herself to be amused by the fact that Olly cared about her nickname.

She didn't want to be late, so she suggested...

Pick me up at 9:30 PM?

How about 8 and we all get dinner before?

Great, Lauren thought, I love third wheeling.

Sounds great.

She sent through her address and looked at the clock again. Somehow an hour had flown past. She had wanted to get the schoolwork Camila had distracted her from finishing before she left for the party.

However, she found herself distracted, hoping Camila didn't avoid her at the party. She had completely no idea how the other girl was feeling about last night and hoped her mother hadn't warded her off. Then she remembered Camila's reputation.
