On January seventh I was born to K A C and D A W, my father was alcoholic and didn't care enough to show up to the hospital on the day I was born.
Afterwards my mother gave him a choice between alcohol and me. He choose alcohol.
I never met him until I was six years old.
And so I grew up without a father in a big house in the West Linn Oregon suburbs. It was okay. I always had what I wanted, my mum, grandparents, Aunt, and cousin lived with me, my cousin became an older brother.
When I was two, my mother met my stepfather, and that's when things got complicated, everything was fine for a while but eventually me, my mum, and my soon to be step dad moved out.
We found a good sized house near downtown Oregon City, at first I was miserable, because at my grandparents house there were twins across the street from them that were my age. I'm still friends with them to this day.
A few months later, in September of 2006, I started kindergarten at Holcomb elementary school. I made new friends, a girl TK (a/n I'll be abbreviating names to protect my friends), a girl KF, and her cousin EH. But it was MB who really got to me, I was only five and already had my first crush, he had light brown hair and brown eyes the color of chocolate.
He would be a part of my life until this very day.
