Mission: part 1

The next day all of team 7 meet outside of the hokage's office and now they are being given their mission

Boruto's POV

Boruto:

So dad what kind of mission is this with the way you were talking about it at home last night it sounds important

Naruto:

Your right son this is important the 5 kage's are having a meeting to discuss the recent attacks on shinobi at the village borders so we need team 7 to set up along the route to watch the other 4 kage's travel to konoha and back from konoha it should take about a week maybe two weeks at the most now this is an A - rank mission son so be careful and good luck oh and we're sending Cho Cho Shikadai and Sumire as backup so you can cover more ground they'll meet you at the village entrance now go and make me proud DISMISSED

Team 7:

*in unison* yes lord 7th

Later that day we meet Shikadai
Cho Cho and Sumire at the village entrance like my dad said and we plan out what to do

Shikadai:

*holds a map of the route to point out locations* ok so me and mitsuki will be here at the beginning of the route watching them enter and leave konoha

Mitsuki:

Right Shikadai!

Shikadai:

Then Boruto and Sarada will be here in the middle of the route watching them travelling through the woods you two gotta be on high alert because this is where they are most vulnerable it's isolated away from the village so that's probably where they would strike so be ready

Sarada:

*blushes at the thought of getting Boruto all to herself all week* right shikadai good idea my sharingan will help and boruto has his jougan he can sense any unfamiliar chakra before anyone notices and can warn them

Boruto:

Good thinking Sarada if we can give them a warning fast enough maybe they can escape before a fight starts

Shikadai:

And finally Cho Cho and Sumire will be here watching the other end of the route and watching them leave their villages and returning to their villages

Cho Cho:

Right Shikadai!

Sumire:

Right Shikadai!

Shikadai:

Ok here are some flares

Ok everyone get to your positions set up camp then start watching use the radios to tell everyone when your set up LETS GO

Later that day while Sarada put up the tent I looked up and down our area looking for any vulnerable spots along the way marking them so I knew where tgey would be most vulnerable when I returned Sarada had fully set up camp I was impressed that she had done it so fast

Boruto:

Damn Sarada that was fast anyway I checked along our part of the route and found 5 areas where they would be most vulnerable I marked them with some extra kunai I brought with me so we know where to keep a close eye on on you can take one spot and my shadow clones and I will take care of the other areas
