A/N – Ok time for the next chapter. Life continues to move on, and Amy and Ty have a chance to go to Banff for the weekend. Sounds easy, maybe not. Some Mature content.

Amy was giddy. They had been invited to do a clinic in Banff and were going to be staying at the romantic Banff Resort. Clinics were a way for them to promote their business, share their skills to the attendees and in this case be away for some alone time. They loved their kids deeply but some time away was always welcomed. They had a few weeks to prepare. The kids would still be in school, and they would be leaving early on Friday and not returning until Monday evening. Most clinics they had done were close enough to bring the kids and didn't need an overnight stay. The few that didn't Amy would do on her own so Ty could manage the herd while she was gone. But this was different. It was the first time they were going together, all expenses paid for 4 days and 3 nights – alone!!

Life on the Miracle ranch was moving along nicely, School and chores for the kids, work for Ty and Amy, the horses, it was all good. Lyndy's 5th grade dance was coming this weekend and she was nervous. Amy and Lyndy had many conversations about it and Amy said to her, "Everything is going to be fine. You will be with your friends, and Wyatt will be with his. When he asks you to dance be polite? Did Aunt Lou give you a dance lesson yet? She did a great job with Ty. "She did mom," Lyndy huffed "And she said I was a better student than him." "Well, that's not saying much but don't tell him I said that" joked Amy. They continued to giggle in their hushed conversation and Lyndy felt much more confident.

"So, mom this trip, you are going right?" Lyndy questioned. "Well, we really want to. It would be good for business and having some time with your dad would be nice" she blushed. "Oh, mom don't be so weird, I understand what you mean. Maybe I'll get a little brother or sister out of it!", she laughed. Amy was amazed at the level of maturity of her almost 11-year-old – well beyond her years. "So', Amy asked, "Do you want another family member?' "That would be cool." She answered. They were interrupted by Maddie. "You are going on the trip, right mom? You and dad will have so much fun. Don't worry about us we will be fine. We will miss you, but you won't be gone long" she babbled. Amy hugged her to get her to stop talking and told her she was pretty sure they were going to do it. "We just need to get things organized here. I am going to need you to step it up and keep the twins in line." Maddie gave a thumbs up and ran to her dad who was working on the Norton.

The dance was a big success and Lyndy got her dance with Wyatt, actually three of them. She was on cloud nine and her and Wyatt were the talk of the 5th grade. Walking down the hall with a couple of her friends she heard a yelp from behind. "So, I hear somebody has a boyfriend," Alyson said with disgust. A loud number of gasps came from the crowd. Lyndy gathered her composure and said, "Wyatt and I are good friends and we both had a lot of fun at the dance with our friends and each other. I like him a lot and we both respect each other. Of course, you wouldn't understand that now would you Alyson." Alyson looked shocked because no one had ever challenged her like that. Rather than try to respond in a mature matter she stamped her feet and walked away saying "Whatever!" Everyone laughed and carried on.

It was the weekend before Amy and Ty were leaving. All the arrangements were made. The twins and Maddie would be staying at GG and Lisa's house. Lyndy would stay with Georgie and Steven and even Katie was going to stay as well in the loft. "Poor Steven," Ty laughed. They were going to bring their horses so they could ride over to the ranch to check on the horses and the property for morning and evening feeding. The put Lyndy in charge but secretly asked Georgia to keep an eye on everything. Amy notified all of her clients giving them Georgie's number and Ty did the same using Steven. All the stars were aligned, everything was covered, and Amy and Ty were really excited, not only for the clinic which was fully booked but for their time alone.
