A/N - Another long chapter for sure, but a fun one! As expected, the summer is going to be interesting. It is a whole new world for the Borden family and the icing on the cake is the news of another family member coming. Enjoy

A couple of weeks later the girls waited anxiously at the table after dinner. Their parents wanted to have a family meeting, and they had no idea what it was about. "Maybe they are mad at us about something," Maddie croaked. "I told you guys to help with setting up dinner more tonight." looking at the twins. Lyndy, who had just turned 11 interjected, "Maddie they wouldn't want to talk to us about that at a family meeting. It's something more important than that." "I hope they are ok; I mean as a couple," Addie said with concern. "Are you kidding me they are like newlyweds, always stealing a hug or a kiss. It can kind of be a little gross actually. Our friends always comment on how lovey dovey they are. It's kind of embarrassing" Annie added to the conversation. "Well, I think it is awesome," Maddie squawked. Then they all looked over together as Amy and Ty came back to the table. Lyndy looked at them and saw they each had hoodies on, which she thought was weird.

As Ty and Amy approached the girls sat up straight awaiting their fate. Amy and Ty smirked as they sat down across from them holding hands under the table. Lyndy couldn't wait and spoke up, "Ok mom and dad what's up, why the family meeting." Amy spoke first, "Well we first want to thank you for stepping up and for taking on all the extra work so far this summer. We are proud of each of you and love you all very much," She started to tear up and the girls got concerned. Ty took over. "The other thing we need to talk about is a family matter. I can tell by your faces that you are worried that mom seems very emotional. It's just the hormones kicking in," chuckling. Maddie immediately asked, "What's a hormone?" "Well, we can have that discussion later," Amy laughed. Ty and Amy stood up and unzipped their hoodies. It took a second for them to read them. Ty's said, Lyndy, Annie, Addie and Maddie and Amy's said You Are Going to be Big Sisters!

The all had a glazed look but amazingly Maddie was the first to notice, "MOM, YOU ARE GONNA HAVE A BABY!!" She shrieked so loud they probably heard it at Heartland. Lyndy and Annie followed with hugs. But Ty noticed Addie, with a concerned look on her face. Always the thinker he went to her and hugged her saying, "OK out with-it sweetie, what's up?" Annie immediately sensed her sister's feeling and looked over followed by the rest of the family. She whimpered, "Mom are you gonna be OK. Having a baby is tough and I know you are too, but I can't stop worrying about you. I am excited about it just concerned about you." Amy brought all 4 girls and Ty into a hug making sure they all heard her clearly. "Girls, first of all dad and I couldn't be happier, and I am going to be fine. We went to the doctor, and everything looks fine – the baby and me. I am going to need all of your help though over the next 8 months more than ever." So, are we all good?" Ty asked them. Then mom lightened the mood and said, "And I bet that Daddy is really excited about another daughter, maybe." The girls laughed and started ticking him. He threw up his arms and felt as happy as he had ever been.

Somehow the girls finally settled down and fell asleep. It was a struggle for Amy and Ty, especially Maddie who had a lot of questions. They also spent a little more time than usual with Addie to make sure she was OK. When they sat with Lyndy Amy asked, "So what do you think about this, are you Ok with it." "Of course, I am Mom, I am actually excited about it. I kind of always wanted a little brother, but it would be funny to see daddy with 5 daughters. Actually, with Georgie and Katie we are definitely a girl power family" Lyndy smiled, high fiving her mom. Ty jumped in and said, "Chill you two, actually can you imagine if it is a boy. That poor boy will be outnumbered, like me."

The next morning the table was alive with chatter. Between the new baby and the end of school a few days away things were hectic. Before the kids left Amy and Ty needed to tell them about keeping things a secret for now. Amy gave a clear message, "I know it will be tough, but we need to keep things quiet for now, so don't tell anyone. We are going to have everyone over for Lyndy's late Birthday party and if you are OK with it Lyndy, Dad and I are going to come out with our t-shirts on. We thought that would be cute." They hugged and Ty kissed her forehead, while Addie and Annie gagged. Maddie yelled at them and Lyndy said that would be cute. And it would take all the attention away from her birthday. Contrary to Maddie Lyndy shied away from the attention. Luckily it was only a couple of days the girls kept it quiet although it was hard. Even Amy and Ty were having problems not telling anyone. So, the stage was set for the big reveal.

Everyone was at Lyndy's party. Ty was overseeing the BBQ, while Jack and Tim argued. Amy, Lou, and Lisa worked on the other food, potatoes salad, beans, coleslaw, rolls, and other fixings. Georgie and Steven finished up the cake and pies in the loft and brought them. Katie and the other girls set up all the tables. Lyndy was overwhelmed with the love of her family. Her mom and dad let her invite Maya and Wyatt, so they were in their own huddle talking. The other girls got to have some friends come as well. So, dinner began, after a prayer from Amy and Ty, dinner began. It was a feast that everyone enjoyed, even though Tim said the BBQ wasn't cooked enough. After dinner Lyndy got to open a few presents, even though she already got a lot of them on her actual birthday 6 days ago. After a Happy Birthday melody, cake and pie was distributed and gobbled up. Amy and Ty slipped away and changed into their T-Shirts and Hoodies. When they came back Lyndy stood up and thanked everyone for coming. Then as planned she said, "I have loved all of my presents but there is one more present that is for everyone," glancing over to her parents. Amy and Ty zipped down their hoodies while turned around and pivoted together to show their shirts. The crowd was silent until Maddie couldn't hold it back and screamed, 'MY MOMMY IS GONNA HAVE A BABY!" The crowd erupted running over to the parents to be with hugs, kisses, and handshakes. Jack and Lisa were tearing up, Tim said another grandchild? Lou, Katie, and Georgie were over the moon excited. They really loved babies. The girls gleamed with pride and hugged their friends. Amy and Ty looked over the scene in front of them, looked into their eyes and kissed. At that moment their lives couldn't be better.
