*yawn* My bedroom was fully lighted. The sun was coming directly in from the window. As I got up I could remember last night. Lucas was so sweet, he even kissed me. It was so romantic. I've never had a boyfriend before, not that I could have. The apocalypse hasn't really given me vacations.

"Hey babe, get ready were leaving in 20 minutes" Lucas popped his head inside my door.

"I know were together now, but you could still knock" I said annoyed.

"Oh yeah sorry..." He said closing the door.

"Boys..." I chanted. I took off my clothes and layed them in a pile on the floor. I really did need to take a shower. Maybe it hasn't been dryed or cut in this house. I opened the door to the bathroom. And pulled on the shower curtain. I involuntarily closed my eyes as I twisted the tab key wishing there was water. Just as I was about to give up, the sound of running water filled my ears. I quickly took a shower. And threw on some clothes. When I came downstairs Lucas was already waiting for me with our guns in hand.

"Here" he said handing me it. "I couldn't find a sword, sorry".

"Its okay, this will do" I smiled.

"Then let's get going"

The day was extremely hot, even more so than usual. We were walking, just walking. We didn't know where we were going, but we just walked.

"Did you hear that?" Lucas asked looking for the source of the noise.

"No idea..." I said turning to look myself.

"Let's just keep walking, maybe it was just the trees" I said, the thing is we both knew it wasn't the trees. We were being followed by god knows who and we only had guns against them. It was best just to keep walking.

"Stay where you are and don't move!" a voice in the trees shouted. "Who are you and what is your business here?!"

"Hello, umm I'm Vie and this is Lucas. We were just walking by. We will leave now if we must" I said terrified.

"Are you immune?" He asked.

"Yes we both are" I answered back.

"Test them" he told someone who we still couldn't see. A tall man came from behind a bush with a gene tester gun in hand.

"Stay still" the man commanded. A slight pinch in my neck was all that was felt.

"She's immune, and him too" he told the man in the trees.

"Tied 'em up, were bringing them with us" he said. And suddenly they put bags over our heads and cuffs on our hands. We were officially their prisoners.
