Reine started off toward the elevators. The hospital was located on floor six; which was mostly favored by apartments, doctors, consumer goods, and restaurants. 'The credits I have to spend is far more than I can spend on a meal,' so she decided, 'we can go shopping too.' Deytria asked curiously.
"So what's next, Reine?"
Her girlfriend walked beside her and matched speeds, while tall buildings of assorted sizes towered in every direction with a complex system of alleyways and streets. She looked up at her and smiled weakly. She hesitated, before she answered.
"Well, father gave me credits to spend. I wanted to train... we have a big match next week. Barely enough time for me to heal up from yesterday, though... we're supposed to celebrate yesterday's win. I'm thinking we can go eat somewhere nice and go shopping. What do you think?"
"I think that it's a good idea, everyone worked hard to win yesterday. Have you ever eaten at Anonymous?"
She shook her head in response, "Is it good food?"
Deytria shrugged and kicked the air in front of her, as she looked down; before she looked back up sideways at her leader, as she answered, "Never been there, you can't even get in unless you've been on H.V - unless someone who has takes you there. I've heard rumors, though - it's supposed to be the best food in Valhalla, and they give you masks before you enter the restaurant. So no one can recognize you. I figured, since we were on H.V this morning - we could take the crew there."
"That actually sounds fun."
Reine nodded and was startled, as three teenagers on hoverboards sped past down the wide cobblestone pathway. Her gaze followed the teens and spotted the rest of her crew waiting at the elevators; she waved to get their attention, as she corrected course to intercept them. When they met, Deytria would not stop going on and on about the interview, until Alex interrupted her ranting.
"So Reine, why did you call us here?"
She smiled and answered, "We're going to celebrate our win, let's go eat!"
Alexia raised an eyebrow, before she replied, "Where?"
The blonde grinned and spoke excitedly, "Anonymous. Lead the way!"
Her navigator and Acovis looked at each other in surprise. Alexia shrugged and smiled, before she turned to lead them down the street. The restaurant was not far, and Deytria did not let anyone else talk, as she was far too excited about being 'famous'. Reine noticed a large, black curtain past the podium with a tough-looking host standing behind it, as they entered the fancy restaurant, built like a short stronghold, through glass doors that slid open to the sides.
The host looked down at them and was amused, as he inquired, "Who might you kids be?"
She pushed through her crew standing tall and smiled, as she spoke proudly, "I'm Reine Zoe Xavior."
"I see...," the host raised an eyebrow and looked down at a screen built into the podium.
He reached down and pulled out four black masks. The masks would cover their eyes and noses, yet still allow them to see. He offered her the masks with a smile and waited, until she passed the masks out to her crew; after the children donned the masks, he spoke again.
"Right this way, Madam."
The host pulled back the curtain to reveal a large, dimly lit room. She noticed it had a large dance floor, many booths guarded by black curtains of their own, a bar on the far wall, and a podium with colored lights hanging above it for the D.J; who played dance music.
The music was very upbeat with distorted bass, a lot of sound effects, and simple lyrics. When the crew all entered the main room, the heat from the people dancing hit them instantly. The host sped around them and led them to a booth on the far left side of the room.
