Giran had called, telling Dabi to meet him at the train station. He wasn't able to find other people to team up with Dabi so he had to do it alone.

"It's not like several people were required, and I think you got what it takes to do it on your own, boy." Giran said with a slap on Dabi's back. "Don't hit me or call me boy, old man." Giran held up his hands to mock Dabi's aggressive tone. "Whoa okay man I didn't mean to disrespect ya. Anyways, once the job is done the client said he wanted a toe or something. I think he said it would be the one with the tattoo of their family crest. Deliver it to this address and you'll be payed! Lucky you, you don't have to share as much now." The man handed Dabi the address with a smile.

"Hey before you go can I have a smoke?" Dabi asked Giran before he turned around. "Oh of course! I assume you don't need a light?" He chuckled as he took out his pack.

Dabi sighed with relief as he took in the cigarette. "Thanks, I'll be done by tonight." He said before leaving.

Dabi hoped that the cat wouldn't follow him as he broke into the house. He tried to make it clear on how dangerous it was for Kitty to join him but he doubted it understood anything he said.

Dabi put a glove on his right hand and grabbed a kitchen knife with it. Using his left hand, he heated up the blade. There was no proof of it, but Dabi felt like heating the blade would make it stab in easier. If not, he could care less if it simply made everything more painful for the victim.

After purposely knocking down junk from a shelf, Dabi hid and waited for his victim to wake up and investigate.

Taking the bait, they walked into the dinning room where the crash came from. "Hello? Anyone there?" They asked in an attempt to sound brave. Once they walked near Dabi, he popped out and did his job, making sure to muffle the screams of pain with his arm.

He let go of his victim, and then inspected his clothes to make sure he had no blood on him. His job was done, and it would be wote off as a robbery that ended in bloodshed. Dabi stashed the toe away and slipped a few things that caught his eye before heading  to the window he came in from.

"H-hold it right there!" Dabi stopped, slowly turning his head to see a woman in a nightgown holding a gun.

Dabi had no idea who he was sent to kill, but the possible ways they got their hands on a gun were not in his favor. He slowly turned around and kept his hands clear.

"Don't move! I'm going to call the police! You're going to pay!" The woman threatened. Dabi remained calm.

"Look honey I meant to hard feelings, just trying to make a living. Now put the gun down and let me make sure you never see me again." Dabi coaxed.

"Nu-uh! You'll pay for what you did to my husband!" The woman yelled.

Mew

"Huh?" The woman looked in the direction of the noise, Dabi took his chance to disarm her.

"Sorry hon I can't die yet, my apologies for causing you trouble." Dabi apologized as he swiped the gun from her hands.

Mrrrow!

Dabi glared at the calico. "Thanks for the distraction Kitty but that doesn't mean I'm not happy with you following me!" Dabi sighed before knocking the woman unconscious. He turned in disgust as he knew what he had to do next. "What weirdo would want a toe?" He muttered as he cut the toe off. He placed it into a bag and tucked it away into his coat.

"Well, let's go get the money." He sighed before escaping from the window.

~Thanks and enjoy~
