Chapter 77

Y/n pov

"Techno I want to do this alone." I urge.

"He's my brother too. I'm going." He demands.

  "He hates you though doesn't he?" I question.

  "Well yes, I'm not going to let you go alone. You don't know what has changed with Wilbur." He says.

"Are you saying he might hurt me? Because he'd never to that, not to me." I say abruptly and offended.

"I'm coming." Techno states, not giving up.

"Alright okay." I scoff.

  We make our way over to where L'manburg was blown to pieces. I didn't realize someone covered the top of the enormous hole with glass.

  "Where would we find Will?" I ask Techno as we step onto the glass.

  "Probably where he died?" He states. "Where would that be?"

"Follow me I was there, as Phil stabbed him." I explain as I walk over to where the old podium was.

I look up above it and back at Techno. "Up there." I state.

"Uh Y/n." He begins and points to where I was showing him.

I look up and see a figure looking down at us. Wilbur. I couldn't help but smile. He's actually here, alive. I start running around the back side and climb to the top. That's when I see him standing there.

"Wilbur." I exclaim, tears in my eyes as I run to hug him.

My arms wrap around him in pure joy. But he doesn't hug back. I pull away and look at him, confused.

"Will? It's me Y/n your sister." I state.

"Yes and what about it?" He questions.

"I've missed you. And I kinda expected a better reaction than this." I say as I back away.

  "I'm just excited to finally see the Sun, breathe air again. And yeah I guess I missed you. But to be alive again, whoo it feels good." He exclaims and begins to walk around.

He walks over to the edge and looks out. "I really did a number on this place. That's not a good look for me is it. Oh shit that's bad. That's really bad." He begins to laugh with excitement as he jumps down onto the glass. "I'm alive!" He shouts.

I slowly make my way off of the rock and climb back down. Then I walk over to him. "Will you didn't do this, Techno and Dream did." I explain.

"Oh Y/n, this is bliss." He shouts as he looks around so excitedly. "Is that the sun?! I need to watch the sunrise!"

  He runs over to get a clear view of the sunrise and just stares blankly into it. "Y/n I have waited so long, so long for this. It's been thirteen and a half years stuck in that hellhole."

  He looks over at Techno as if he just realized he was here. "Oh Techno! You're here. You did this? You blew it all up!" He exclaims.

  "Uh yes." Techno states.

  "Well at least someone can do a solid job around here." Will says and turns his attention back to the sun.

  "Will? What's happened to you?" I question.

  He scoffs and looks at me with a serious face. Then he walks up closer to me. "Y/n do you know what I had to go through when I was dead? I was stuck staring at that train station, that platform, surrounded by concrete walls. I was alone for a long time. No matter how much I screamed or clawed at the walls nothing happened. Y/n I screamed for help until my lungs wouldn't let me. Oh what thirteen and a half years could do to you."

  "I'm sorry Will. I had no idea." I quiet my voice to avoid him yelling at me.

  "Of course you didn't, you never died. What exactly have you been doing since I died?" He questions.

My breathing speeds up with anger. "I've been fighting for my life, it's been hell without you. I killed people just because I had the chance to bring you back. Everything I did was to get you back. And you can't be the least bit appreciated that I'm the one who asked Dream to revive you?!" I mutter with anger pouring out of my words.

  "How did you get Dream to revive me? He hates you." Will asks as if he couldn't believe what I had done.

"You always did underestimate me, you made Tommy the leader when Dream first attacked us. Even though you knew I was the strongest and the best fighter there. But guess what? While you were dead, I put one of the most powerful people in prison. I killed one of the leaders of the Eggpire. I made everyone believe that I had actually died to get revenge. So of course I could get Dream to revive you." I explain with an arrogant tone.

"Well did you threaten him? What did you hold over his head?" Will begins to question as I give him a rude look. "What? I mean come on he wouldn't give you anything unless you had something on him?"

I smile sarcastically at him. "I didn't have to hold anything over him. I just asked." I state.

Will chuckles in disbelief. "I don't believe you, what did you do?"

"I'm being serious, I just asked. Why does it even matter?" I question.

  "Because that would mean Dream wanted to do it for you. If he wanted to do it for you that means he cares or wants to make you happy. But that couldn't be true? Right Y/n?" He states sounding like he doesn't want to believe what he's saying.

  "A lot has changed since you died. Dream and I well, we've grown a liking to each other." I explain with a snarky expression.

  "Y/n! He kidnapped you, took you away from you're family. All for his own gain! He's probably just using you now to get out of prison." Will exclaims angrily.

  "He did but I forgave him. It took a long time but I really believe he can have redemption. I don't need you to look out for me anymore, I'm nineteen okay. I can make my own decisions." I argue back.

"You apparently can't. If you're in love with Dream then you need serious help. He's the villain of the story, and your the hero it just doesn't work." He scoffs.

"What if I don't want to be the hero? I mean villains have more fun right?" I state with a slight grin.

"Dream has done so many bad things, he'll end up breaking your heart." He says.

"You're one to talk, you blew up an entire country. Your country actually. What kind of leader does that...? None because only villains do that. So don't yell at me for being in love with one." I argue. "We're leaving." I state as I walk over and past Techno.

He nods and follow me. "So uh...how'd it go?" He asks.

"He's changed and it's not a good change." I reply. "What are we gonna do about him? He was already unpredictable and now?"

  "We'll be hasn't done anything yet, so I say we go home and relax. Before we have to do anything." Techno suggests with a laugh.

  I sigh with a smile. "Alright fine." I agree and we start walking back to Techno's house.
