Joining The Afterlife

Chapter 2: Living With Strangers.

^Takashi^

I walk as i look down while fiddling around with my earrings. Why just why don't I remember my past, why don't I remember anything before I died maybe it could of helped me somehow ... I don't know. I sigh as I walk clumsily into takashi's back.

"We're here" takashi's looked at my face confusedly "...what the heck is wrong with you?"... " huh... oh uh ... I think I'm just tired" I said while rubbing my eyes gently " well don't fall a sleep now" he said in an annoyed tone " well if you could just open the door that would be awesome" I hissed at him " relax I have to ring the bell smart ass."

" Wow so he doesn't live alone I wonder who lives with him...... I bet its his girlfriend oh my gosh i cant wait to see her ... But she better be nice or i would have beat her up using kiyoko's body."mei said that realy loud almost shouting. Takashi rang the bell three times but no one answered.

"Try ringing again" I said while sighing. Takashi was about to press the door bell just when a shy brown haired girl with brown eyes approached us.

"Sorry for not answering quick enough" she said while looking straight into takashi's eyes. "Huh no don't worry its cool" he gave her a peck on the cheek and she blushed "kiyoko this is my girlfriend Mitsuko Ashikagi.". "And I'm Kiyoko Manami".

Mitsuko stared at me like she was shocked by something then looked at Takashi then looked straight back at me. " well what was that all about" mei sounded as confused as I was.

"Uhhhhh kiyoko is staying here for a while so...". "Yeah that's fine its just that you two uhh nothing don't worry" what's with her. "Thank you guys for letting me stay"I bowed while thinking about what just happened.

"I'll show you to your room" Takashi said while grabbing my arm. "Why do you have to hold onto my arm so tight and your hand is really hot"

his hand is so hot because he has that fire power thing does every one have powers in the afterlife.

"Here's your room its not that big but your not living here forever so it should be good right" he gave me a towel, pyjamas and other things and was just about to leave.

"um takashi why did mitsuko just look at me in confusion" takashi stopped walking with his back towards me "maybe your name or surname sounded familiar to her"

I watch takashi leave my room in anger he slammed the door.

"Well what's his deal" mei sounds pretty angry. "You know what mei I don't even understand a thing about what's going on here. I'm pretty confused my self with that power that was coming from you. its all confusing.... I really need to sleep so don't talk to me please"

"Ehhh why are you all moody Kiyoko after all we are going to be here for the rest of our days so we have to get used to being in the afterlife"

Mei's right we can't go back on earth if we are dead so I have to try and get used to it.

"So..um are you gonna let me go to sleep now or what I'm super tired" . "oh yeah now you can go to sleep"

I switch of the light and I get into the cold bed and covered up in the sheets I stare at the ceiling for a while and drift of into a sleep. A few minutes later I wake up.

I didn't even get to sleep for long.

"Mei" I whistpered. "Oh your awake" Mei's voice sounded far away. "Yeah its pretty dark in here" I said while i looked out the window. "hey mei why don't we leave and test out your powers" I jumped out of bed and put pillows under the sheet to make it look like I was still there. "Well you were very moody before you went to sleep"

With out paying attention to what she said I already made my way to the window and was about to jump out.

"Get your power ready" I said while exited. "Okay let's go" mei sounded really exited."OK 1 .. 2.. 3 JUMP" mei shouted as I jumped.

I laughed while feeling the cool breeze against my body being able to jump so high in the sky feels great I took another big jump and it felt like I was near the moon I landed then I decided to go back to where me and takashi met. On my way there I saw that black winged angel guy walking in my direction.

"Kiyoko isn't that the guy that touched your forehead"mei whispered. "Yeah it it" I whispered back."kiyoko talk him"

He walked past me with his head down and his hands in his pocket. So I turn around

"Um excuse m-" what he's not there.

I see a black feather float down towards me. He must of flew of somewhere.

"He's gone"mei sounded surprised. " so fast what the heck".

I looked around and put the feather in my pocket and zipped it up. I was ready to go back to takashi's house.

"Yeah what ever I don't even care let's go home" I looked up as I was about to jump.

A few minutes later we were at my room window I jumped towards it and opened it then climbed in and switched on the light and put the feather on my desk in my room.

"Why are you keeping it kiyoko"I don't know...Why am I keeping the feather?. " just be quiet mei I'm going to sleep" I'm starting to get tired.

"Wow your moods are just all over the place"

I switched of my light then I dived into my bed and buried my face into my pillow.

"Goodnight Mei" I said with my face still buried into my pilow. "Yeah Goodnight kiyoko"

Hello guys its been a while huh? Well I'm very sorry about that I've been really busy because of my my dads birthday and wedding plans (for my god mother :D) and funerals. And I don't know when I'll be posting next because school starts again so just keep a look out. i hope you guys enjoyed this chapter :)
