Is it necessary for all to suffer?

Flashback of Chandigarh

Lucky: Are you fine now? 

Avu: Yeah. 

Ari: Will you stay the night here? 

Avu thought for sometime then agreed as she lives alone right now and she had locked the house properly as well. 

Ari: I'll give you a night dress. 

She went inside while Lucky and Avu were randomly talking. Ari came back and gave her the night suit. 

Avu: Ari, sorry but I can't wear this. Do you have a t-shirt with full sleeves and leggings? 

Ari: Sorry but I don't have any which will be comfortable for the night. 

Avu: Don't say sorry, it's fine. I can sleep in these. 

Lucky understood her problem. 

Lucky: I can give you a sweatpants and full sleeves t-shirt. T-shirt will be loose but the outfit will be comfortable. 

Avu: I'll be fine in these. 

Lucky: You can't be so formal or shy with me saali saheba. 

Avu: Ok jiju. 

They saw Ari making a face and laughed while giving a hi-fi to each other. Lucky went to his home to get the clothes. Avu received Abhi's call. 

Avu: How did you unblock yourself? 

Abhi: I just did. Where are you now? 

Avu: At Ari's home.

Abhi: What are you doing there?

Avu: Met Arily on the way. 

Abhi: On the way? 

Avu: I was just walking around. 

Abhi: Hmm. 

Robert: Sir, don't you want to sleep? 

Abhi: Yeah coming. 

He came back to call. 

Avu: Aren't you at home? 

Abhi: No, at friend's home. 

Avu: Your friend calls you sir? 

Abhi: It is Robert. 

Avu: Ohh. Give the phone to Robert no. 

Abhi: No. Talk to him tomorrow. 

He said knowing if he gives Robert the phone Arhana will ask for it. 

Avu: Ok. Bye. 

Abhi: Bye. 

He kept the call. 

Ari: Who is Robert? And who called this late? 

Avu: Abhi called. And Robert is a friend of ours. 

Lucky came back then Avu went to change. She came out to see Arily having an eye lock and smiled not disturbing them and went to the balcony. She was just looking out when she remembered something making her smile. 

Flashback, in Chandigarh: 

Avu was sitting in the dark room she has been locked in since Arhaan's death. They gave her food twice a day. She wouldn't eat unless Jai forced her to. He kept asking her to run away, but she wouldn't agree. She never sat on the bed kept there as well, always on the floor. She got onto the window sill and then jumped out into the balcony. She was on the highest floor of the house, the fourth floor. In this whole building of four floors, their family lived, which was hers and Jai's parents, Arhaan and Lucky's parents and grandmother, Ari's parents and a couple who had no children. She saw Jai was in his room only and jumped to his balcony. There was some distance between their balconies. Jai would never jump over it knowing if he falls in between, there is no way he'll be alive, even if the gap was too less to actually fall. Avu wasn't scared of these heights though. Jai heard the sound and came to balcony. 

Jai: You again jumped here. 

Avu: So what? 

Jai: You'll never listen. Anyways, why don't you run away when you easily can? 

Avu: I don't want to. 

Jai: For whom are you staying here? It wasn't even your fault, it was Arhaan who decided to give his life. 

Even Jai believed Arhaan loved Avu and gave his life for her. After coming to Mumbai she one day told him Arhaan gave his life because his parents used to abuse him and that its Ari who he loved and apologized to in the letter when he wrote love. 

Jai: And Arishfa, we don't even know where she is. 

Avu: I won't stay behind for a person who didn't even trust me. 

Jai: What? 

Avu: Nothing. Leave that, I'm not running away. You very well can if it suffocates you living with your family. 

Jai: The people who treat you this way, lock you in a dark room and beat you, they can never be my family. And if I do run away, it will be with you. 

Avu rolled her eyes. 

Avu: I'm going back now. Goodnight. 

Jai: Goodnight. 

Avu jumped back to her balcony and went inside the room. 

Flashback ends. 

It had taken a lot for Jai to convince Avu then they ran away. Avu later found out that Ari trusted her, their families made her believe Ari didn't to create misunderstandings. After sometime the three went to sleep. Arily did, Avu was awake to avoid nightmares.

Meanwhile with Faisnat and Daniel, Daniel was successful in improving Faisu's state of mind, Fais now knew the truth as well. He was relieved he didn't do any of those and that even if those two would have died by his hands, it wouldn't be innocents who would be dead. Something else also happened, which you'll know in further chapters. Next day Jaan and Daniel were coming out. Right now Robert and Avu are talking on the call. 

Robert: Where did you go suddenly? 

Avu: Sorry, I had gone to meet my family but forgot to inform you. And over there we aren't supposed to use phones and all that. 

Robert: Ohh. 

Avu: Where are you right now? 

Robert: In office. 

Avu: Hmm. 

Robert: Why don't you come to office tomorrow? 

Avu: Sir has strictly told me to not come to the office. 

Robert: Oh. So can we meet somewhere else? Its been so long since we met. 

Avu: Yeah. After your office hours? 

Robert: Uh no, we'll have to meet during the office hours only. And I'm sure sir will let me come. 

Avu: Ok then. 

She said, confused. They decided to meet at Daniel's home. After sometime they kept the call. 

Abhi: When are you both meeting? 

Robert: Tomorrow. 

Abhi: During office hours only right? 

Robert: Yeah.
