So before I leave the house, I thought about writing a short chapter. I'll probably write another one tonight. Hope y'all enjoy it.

~Haven's POV~

Twenty felt no different than nineteen. It was February 23, my birthday, but it felt like any ordinary day. I had been at Life Solutions for a month and I gotten use to the place. There was still a few girls that I didn't care for, but I did get along with a few girls who basically forced me into friendship. At least that's what they thought.

I had gotten a job a little cafe down the street and I was going to school for nursing. I was playing everything by their little book. Mrs Caldwell thinks she sees improvement, my psychiatrist, Mrs. Jones sees the same. My speech pathologist looks as if she's giving up on me because of my mutism. Things are going like they should. I'm not ready to speak. I haven't heard the sound of my voice since I was twelve. Since the day I screamed I hate you to the top of my lungs, that's when it faded. That's when my voice left my lips.

I eventually bought a phone so I could communicate with the girls better. I gave the best advice even though I hadn't experienced any of it. They loved me even though I couldn't communicate normally. I just wished I could've felt the same about them.

It was pretty quiet in the house that evening. Dinner had been served and we had birthday cake and ice cream for me. Mrs. Caldwell gave me a gift and a pass for me and a few chosen friends to go out that night. I wasn't really up for going anywhere. I didn't know where to go anyway.

I sat on my bed on my phone when Nicole came busting in the room.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BITCH!!" She screamed grabbing me from my position on my bed.
I smiled sitting up. She knew what it meant.
She begin stripping off her clothes like a mad women. "Girl you ain't staying in this house! Mrs. Caldwell gave you passes which means we gotta celebrate," she grabbed her robe throwing it across her body. "I heard from one of my co-workers that club illusion's grand opening is tonight. I checked it out, it's on every social media platform."
I grabbed my phone texting her.
"I never been to a night club."
"My point exactly. It's your twentieth birthday. You need to experience some shit. Plus this ain't an ordinary grand opening. This is one of The Joker's night clubs. The first fifty ladies to get in get to sit in his VIP section. He always does this at his grand openings. You're eating good, drinking expressive shit on him and we'll be up there surrounded by men with money. Shit, if I don't get him, I'll get one of his workers. They make good money. Haven, your kitty cat is your way out. That's facts."
I looked down at what I was wearing. I had been saving up my money from work and didn't go shopping for new clothes.
She smiled. "I gotcha. I ain't gone let you leave out looking like that," she said going to her closet. She pulled out a few dresses laying it across my bed. "Choose one birthday girl. I'll do you're hair and makeup when I come out the shower. You have two more passes, who you're gonna take with us?"
I thought about it for a second and texted her. Amber and Gabriella.
"Ok, text them to see if they wanna go and tell them to be ready in a hour. We wanna be one of those girls to get in."

So that was quick and to the point. I'm really enjoying writing this. I'm grateful for the few readers I have so far. Hopefully y'all enjoying this. It only gets better from here. I'll put another chapter out there tonight. Thanks much lovelies.
