Sia and Brook shrugged at each other.
"I don't believe that," Brook muttered.
Sia rolled her eyes and gave her sister an unimpressed look, and Brook gave a sour face.
"Guys, will you stop with the face contests?" Liana asked, with a little goof in her tone.
They both nodded, hoping they could get back into the plan. Brook grabbed the planning sheet that Looper gave them that sat on the old desk.
"Ok, so," Brook called out, as she placed the sheet on the ground. "We need to figure out a way out of this house."
Sia put a hand to her chin, supposedly giving them a signal that she was thinking.
"Isn't there a secret passage?" Sia questioned.
"Yeah--I know the way out of here. By the way, this house is underground. And, you shouldn't scare the beasts, it just makes it worse," Liana responded. She paced around the room frantically, thinking about how to ignore the beasts.
"Well you definitely don't want to get eaten," Brook joked, but also being a bit serious.
They all laughed, and Sia choked on her own spit because of how funny Brook was.
"Such a comedian," Sia spat out. She laughed some more, but then returned to her normal face.
They all smiled at each other, and their plan went back into motion. It was difficult getting passed Ms. Hezara, because she was on the watch all the time. But in the end, they figured it out.
"Aha!" Brook squealed with delight. She ran her fingers through the plan and said, "the passage. That's it!"
They all slapped each other high five's, and they cheered for a while.
"Our plan is in motion," Liana said. "Let's go to sleep, tomorrow awaits us."
They nodded and they all tucked themselves into their beds, half asleep and not wanting to fall asleep. They were too eager to start the next day.
