"Oh honey!" exclaimed Daisy as she wrapped her arms around [Y/N], embracing the girl in a tight hug. [Y/N] let out a deep sigh. She wasn't able to sleep after what happened that night...no more like she hasn't been able to sleep after the incident that had occurred.

"I should've known! I knew I couldn't let you close the store all by yourself. Oh, my! [Y/N], I'm so so sorry. If you want to quit, that's fine by me." rambled Daisy. [Y/N] chuckled quietly to herself as Daisy continued to ramble on. "Daisy," [Y/N] interrupted, "I'm not quitting. I like this job. Really, I do. I guess it was just a really unfortunate night, right?" Or atleast that's what she's been trying to tell herself...

Daisy nodded and took a sharp intake of breath. "It's just that-uh...this isn't the first time this incident has occurred. It's...I...don't know how to explain it. It's odd, you know? He hasn't made an appearance in years, if I can recall." Daisy mumbled to herself.

As Daisy made this revelation, [Y/N]'s eyes widened upon hearing this.

"What do you mean by that Daisy?" [Y/N] asked. Daisy fumbled with her fingers before sighing. "Well, you see [Y/N], I'm guessing you saw or heard him."

"Oh...are you talking about Je-"

"No!" bellowed Daisy. "Don't say his name! Please. I-I can't stand hearing that name."

[Y/N] slowly nodded her head and kept her mouth shut. She took a mental note to herself not to say that name around Daisy.

"As I was saying, he hasn't came by this small town in a while now. Oh, he's damn right evil! Evil I tell you! I just can't imagine how that Macy girls parents are coping with the loss of their daughter."

As soon as the words left Daisy's mouth, [Y/N] couldn't help but wonder what has happened in this very town.

Does everyone know this 'Jeff' guy? Is he human or is he some type of monster?

"I, myself, have had an encounter with that monster. Well, atleast not person-to-person, but he has greatly affected my family."

Now, [Y/N]'s attention was drawn back to Daisy.

"My daughter, she used to help me around this store a lot like you do now." Daisy said. "What happened to her?" [Y/N] asked. Daisy's lips quivered and she fought the urge to cry as those memories from the past flooded back into her mind. "Her fate was the same as Macy's. He got to her. She tried to tell me, but I never listened to her. I let her die. It's my fault!" wailed Daisy, loudly.

[Y/N] swallowed and wrapped Daisy in to a hug. "I can't let that happen to you too, [Y/N]. I don't want to lose you...I don't want to lose anyone anymore." She sobbed as she clutched the girl in her arms. "Nothing's going to happen to me. See? I'm still here, Daisy." reassured [Y/N]. Daisy sniffled and pulled away. Sighing she said, "Yes, yes. I see that you're okay, [Y/N], but that doesn't mean anything. What if he comes back after you?"

[Y/N] froze when she heard Daisy's words.

What if she's right? thought [Y/N]. Will he come after me because of what happened with Macy?

"I'm the worst; I swear I am." Daisy interrupted [Y/N]'s thoughts. "Look at you!" she exclaimed. "After what I just said, you looked so frightened! Please, oh [Y/N], please! Forgive me! I never meant to scare you! It's just so much to handle."

"Daisy," said [Y/N], "it's alright. Don't worry. Besides, I don't think he knows who I am nor what I look like since I was hiding when that whole thing happened."

Daisy nodded eagerly. "You're right. You're right, he really doesn't."

"From now on," announced Daisy, "both you and I will close up together. How does that sound? Deal?"
