January 5th, X817, Sabertooth

Afternoon snow gently blanketed around the towering guild hall.

The purple flags quietly flapped in the cold breeze.

A sabertooth cat on the top tower silently watched over the quiet valley.

They briefly died down with the wind.

Suddenly, a laser of white-hot light burst through the doors!

It curved down with the hill, rapidly approaching the town.

Right before it reached the buildings, the comet pitched down.

Snow, rocks, and earth were dug up by the masses.

The tip of the laser comet started to glow.

A moment later, the light was dispersed!

Two figures crash-landed into the snow.

They both coughed and staggered to their feet.

"You...bastard," a deep voice growled.

The debris gently fell off his silver hair.

Dirt outlined his white jacket and white pants against the snow. It dulled the gold embellishments.

Meanwhile, the snow was glued by sweat to his navy blue shirt.

His large chest muscles heaved.

"It's...your...fault," a teen's voice uttered.

He rapidly shook off the snow from his spiked back blond hair.

His black ball gown gloves wiped off the blood dripping from his nose.

A few drops pierced the snow near his dark snow boots.

The teen dug his lean arms into the pockets of his dark baggy pants to pull out debris. As he did, metal rattled in the brown pouch on his matching belt.

He tasted iron as it dribbled into the neck of his pure white turtleneck.

He raised his head, revealing piercing green irises.

"Never...say that...again," the younger man snarled.

The older one grinned slyly.

He shakily adjusted his silver-lined sunglasses. The diamond ring gleamed on his right middle finger amongst the streams of crimson.

"Never say what, Eli? You bastard?"

Eli clenched his jaw.

"NO, DIAMOND! I MEAN NEVER SAY THAT ABOUT CAL AGAIN!"

Diamond shook his head.

"Good grief. Are you sure you two aren't dating?" he mused.

Eli's body was enveloped in a golden-white light. An instant later he dashed forward!

"SUNLIGHT!" he screamed.

The silver-haired man lifted his right hand to the sky. A light emitted from the palm.

"Feast, m–!!"

Before he could finish, the spiky blond headbutted his gut!

Diamond spat up vomit and spit as he was pushed back into a large rock!

Upon impact, it was shattered! Eli shoved the man into the ground and pushed him around on his back.

Suddenly, the hair on Eli's neck rose up.
