INT. COTERIE - KITCHEN - MIDNIGHT 

Alice sits at the table by herself with her laptop in front of her. Callie on the screen sits down

CALLIE
Okay, I'm my bowl is full again, contuine

ALICE
Okay, so I decided I wanted to paint the kitchen

CALLIE
Oh fun

ALICE
Yeah, it was, until I was the only one painting, so now the wall behind the fridge is only halfway done, and we have yet to move the fridge back into  place

Alice slides her laptop around to face the fridge that is sideways and pulled out

CALLIE
Oh, I'm sure Gael would help

ALICE
Doubt it, he's been...distant

CALLIE
Why? Is everything okay with the baby?

ALICE
Yeah, everything's fine, but I guess it could be any day she has it so he's mega stressed

CALLIE
Oh, really

ALICE
So she and Gael moved downstairs to Dennis's loft, so when the time comes, they can be closer to the exits, and  Dennis moved up here, and he and davia now have your old loft

CALLIE
Oh yeah, Mariana was telling me she took davias room

ALICE
I guess it's not going well with Dennis and Davia; he keeps saying it's temporary, and she just ignores it

Callie chuckles softly

CALLIE
It sounds like normal coterie business

ALICE
So, what have you been up to ?

CALLIE
Uh, not much; just work

Callie glances behind her camera

CALLIE
Uh, in fact I gotta go, but I will talk to you later or next week

ALICE
Oh, okay, bye

CALLIE
Bye

Alice shuts her laptop and sighs

San Diego
INT. CALLIES Apartment - MIDNIGHT

Callie shuts her laptop as the bedroom door in front of her opens

Out walks, Aaron in pajamas pants scratching his head

AARON
Hey, done skyping?

CALLIE
Yeah, sorry, did I take up?

Aaron shakes his head as he walks over to Callie and slides his hands on either side of her neck

CALLIE
(Smiles)
Do these midnight chats bother you? I know you gotta get up early

AARON
No, it's fine. Plus, when I sleep here, I just call in that I'll be a little late

Aaron slides his thumb across her cheek before he kisses her softly

CALLIE
Back to bed ?

Aaron nods and follows her back to the bedroom

INT. Coterie - Davias (new) loft - morning

Davia rolls over, she feels around the bed, and notices Dennis is gone. she sits up and looks around the very empty, very large loft
