INT. COTERIE - DENNIS'S LOFT - early morning

Dennis lays on his bed with Davia laying across his stomach facing him as Dennis runs his fingers through her hair softly, peacefully, they're both dressed, just enjoying the moment together

DAVIA
You know, this is my first day off with no extra work in weeks, do you really want to spend it in bed ?

Dennis slides his hand down her cheek softly as he stares at her

Davia smiles as she realizes Dennis never heard a word she said. She waits a second before nudging him in the side softly

DAVIA
Hey..you hear me

Dennis snaps back to reality and smiles

DENNIS
Sorry. what did you say ?

DAVIA
Where were you at ?

Dennis slides his thumb against her cheek softly

DENNIS
Here..sorry, I was just thinking about you, and  how lucky I am

Davia sits up and kisses him softly

DAVIA
So am i..

Dennis slides his hand down her neck softly

DENNIS
If you wanna go do something we can, we don't have to stay in bed

Davia sits up more as she slides her leg on to the other side of Dennis

Dennis slides his hands down davias waist

DAVIA
Mhm..in a little bit

Davia leans in and kisses Dennis slowly

Dennis grabs Davias waist tightly and pushes her to the side as he hovers over her

Davia pulled his shirt off and wrapped her hand around the back of his neck before kissing him

Dennis starts to kiss down her neck slowly

Suddenly Gael walks in the room on his phone not paying attention

GAEL
Mom, I can't talk about this right now, I just got home, I'll text you later..no seriously-

Dennis jumps off davia quickly just as Gael turns and sees them

Davia sits up throwing Dennis shirt at him

GAEL
Uh..mom I gotta go

Gael hangs up

GAEL
I'm so sorry..I should have knocked

DENNIS
It's okay

GAEL
It's not, this isn't my loft, I need to respect that, I'll leave

DAVIA
Hey..everything okay?

Gael sighs as he shrugs

GAEL
I'm single again, moms pushing me to be with Isabella for the sake of the baby..Isabella still wants to move out...no, everything's not okay

Davia frowns as she understands mother drama

DENNIS
Do you need to talk about it?

GAEL
No..im good, I'll figure it out

DAVIA
You sure?

GAEL
Yeah..its my shit, ill leave you guys be

Gael walks out of the room

DENNIS
The good friend in me wants to go help him...however, I just want to be with my girlfriend

DAVIA

He'll be fine..
