They had made their way to the tavern. It reeked of alcohol, but it was expected. The two young males went to sit over in the corner, away from all the others. At first, it was just silent, an awkward silence. Neither of them have reached out since their Senior year in high school. Which was also the year the two broke up. Long story short, it would've turned into a long distance relationship.
Breaking the silence, the blue haired man spoke up. "How's your job? You seem like a busy fellow eh?" He took a swig of his wine, looking at the blonde haired boy's eyes. "It's well, I always loved to work with people." He was too busy sketching a wine glass, he wanted to avoid any sort of eye contact. "Come on 'Bedo..are we really that awkward now? We used to be able to talk about anything, everything! And now you won't dare to look at me?" Kaeya's voice sounded sincere, he missed talking to the shorter one. Even if he couldn't get the love he desired from him, he wanted to be able to talk with him as normal people.
"I...apologize, Sir Kaeya." He looked up from his sketch book and at Kaeya. His eyes..they were so beautiful. Although only one being shown, he couldn't help but get lost in them. He saw a small smirk appear across the others face, realizing he were staring at him. He cleared his throat and looked back down at his sketch, his cheeks turned a pinkish color. He earned a small chuckle from the other.
Still as awkward as ever, 'Bedo. He took another sip of wine, he was taking it slow, wanting to enjoy his night with him without forgetting it in the morning. "So, anybody special in your life?" He rested his chin in his hand, admiring his blonde locks and his beautiful, ocean eyes that soon met his own. "What a...peculiar question, Sir Kaeya." Albedo put down his pencil to think for a bit. Was there anybody as special as Kaeya? "Not that it matters, but no. There is nobody special other than Klee and my work." His eyes still were just as magnificent as when he first looked into them. "Nobody stole your heart yet, eh?" Kaeya lifted Albedo's chin up with his index finger. Growing closer to him, he was only inches away from his face.
