MOON
There's the moon and there's you,
The moon is far and so are thou.
I look at the moon at midnight,
Just how I look at you in bright daylight.
You smile like a lovely baby,
That I want to cherish and be happy.
Your laugh that I want to hear everyday,
Wishing that it was true every second of the day.
I thought you and the moon were the same,
But I thought wrong, you weren't the same.
I was the one in common with the moon,
We were the same in ways, me and moon.
You are Earth and I am Moon,
That satellites around you.
How far I am to you is the same as earth to moon,
I will never be able to get close to you.
I'll stay here as blue and grey,
While you stay colorful as a spring flower.
I'll stay in my shade, as you stay on your own,
Blue and grey, I look fade but it won't last forever.
