Facing your fears:

" No, not happening. " You said with a defiant laugh. His actuator tugged on your arm persistantly, but still fairly gentle as you stood your ground.

"Oh, come on, it's just a zipline!" He said, looking saddened by your refusal. It was hard to resist giving in to the little pout he gave you, but you did.

" A zip line ALL the way up THERE!" You said, pointing to a mountain far too tall to be safe. He laughed again, this time taking your hand and pulling slightly.

"I'll keep you safe. You know that. " He said softly, pulling you in for a hug. You couldn't resist that, no way. You stared into his eyes, the soft round orbs begging you to have some fun. You narrowed your eyes at him and sighed dramatically.

"Fine, but only because I love you, you big doof" You were genuinely terrified, but you know he'd keep you safe. He'd jump down after you to protect you if he needed to.

"You won't regret it, darling. It'll be amazing" He said, not bothering to hide the strong hint of excitement in his voice. He picked you up bridal style and started leading you up to the zipline. There was a trail, but he decided to instead climb straight up the mountain like a gaint spider up a wall.

"You could have at least taken the trail!" You said mid laugh. Even if you were terrified of heights, you had to admit, it was fun.

"The safe route? Wouldn't dream of it" He said with a smug smile as his actuator pulled them up the mountains at record speed. When you hit the top of the mountain, he set you down gently at the top. You were starting to feel the weight of your fear, and you took a deep breath as he put the harness on.

"I don't know if-" You said, before being cut off by his soft lips pressing into yours. Your fear, the height, the zipline, the mountain, everything faded away. He calmed you easily, and you smiled at him.

"You can do this, you're safe, don't worry" He said with a reassuring smile. He finished both of your harnesses and you both stood at the tip of the mountain.

"I'll go first, and you can ride on my back. " He said, gesturing where you should stand. With a deep unstable breath, you both jumped.

You screamed, you couldn't help it. The speed, the height, everything. You screamed the whole way down, holding onto him for dear life. He laughed the whole time, most likely because of your dramatic screaming. When you neared the ground you flinched, and the zipline began to slow, before halting entirely. He used his actulators to unhook himself, then used them to hold you while he helped you down. Afterwards, he held you for a moment.

" See, was that really so bad? " He asked, stroking your hair and placing little kisses on your head. You shook your head in response, but till held on tight.

He then took you for dinner, then ice cream. You had fun, even if you were scared, and he made sure that the fear was long forgotten by the end of the night. He walked you home, and made sure you got in safe.

"Goodnight, Y/N, I'm glad you faced your fear today" He said, smiling as you fumbled to unlock the door. You gave him a slow, long kiss before he went to leave.

" I love you" you said softly into his warm lips. He mumbled an adorable "I love you too" back and pulled you in to deepen the kiss. Before you knew it, you were pulling him into your apartment.
