Chapter 10: Know Your Place

The boy, Lucas Wykes was standing before me. His eyes still contained the malice. And it was clear that he saw everyone here as his servant.

Behind him were two guards, I observed them.

"Hmm, mid yellow and Dark yellow" Not bad for guards but I don't think it matters for him as he was already dark yellow also but his core quality was not that good. It was probably due to overuse of exilers.

"Hey you, how dare you stand on your legs in my presence kneel," Lucas said 

The urge to kill him instantly filled me . While I wanted to kill him, It wasn't the right place. It doesn't matter how much I despise Lucas I can't murder someone in a restaurant plus I was also accompanied by Lilia, She will think that I am crazy and my mom and dad will probably go crazy.

"Umm Arthur, so are you not joining to kill him " Regis asked me in my mind.

'He is nothing more that a bug to me Regis he is not life-threatening, just annoying'

"You dare look down on me .I am Lucas Wykes , second born of Otis Vayhur Wykes, and when I order you to kneel then you kneel."He ordered us while looking at us like we have committed Blasphemy.

I looked at Lilia and her face turned pale. Even if her family was noble, it can not be compared to wykes and they were one of the most powerful nobles of Dicathin, directly below the royal family. So, after hearing his name she didn't hesitate to kneel.

Before she could go on one foot I grabbed her shoulder and pulled her up. She was startled by my action and looked at me with surprise.

'Arthur, what do you plan to do 'Sylvie asked me while she got off the table.

'I plan to deal with him before entering the Academy because after he enters the academy he will be protected by more troublesome laws.
But still I think I can play with him a little here'
I answered Sylvie 

I cut off Lucas, pointed to the two guards, and said mockingly" Hey Lucas do you still need babysitters while going out"

Lucas looked at me his face full red with anger.
"You peasant you dare mock me, what are you two doing capture him "

The two guards drew their swords from the hilt. They probably took out sword because they saw me using magic and thought I was a conjuror. I looked around and tried to find a stick or something but there was only a spoon and it was too small to be of any use.

"Hahhh…I guess I will use that" I sighed and an aetheric sword formed in my hand. I have found many ways to increase its performance, I can add runes to it, like adding a rune of aevum which can shave off some of the life of the object everytime it touches it or a rune of vivum which can heal my fatigue while I was holding the sword. I can also throw it or distort it's shape in an instant, it was now more like a body part to me which takes any form I desire. It can also coat any body part and make it more muscular or thick but it was useless as I was plenty strong and muscle didn't improve that much of my power .Maybe if I was a wrestler..

'You could use it to make Tessia happyyou know at night'Regis replied me 

'Wha..a…….t!!!' Regis's way of thinking just baffled me. He always says the weirdest things without a tinge of hesitation.

'Looks like we will have a sweet talk at home Regis'Slyvie replied to him to which Regis just gave a mental nod not daring to reply to her.

'Now how should I deal with them.'I thought it and moved towards them. When they saw the sword in my hand they were pretty surprised as they were sure that It wasn't in my hand a moment ago.

I burst stepped in front of them and they raised their sword when they saw me suddenly appear in front of them, well it was a small distance, to begin with.

My swords met theirs for a moment and cut through it like butter.

Immediately after that, I kicked the first one on the chest and he flew and crashed on the wall smashing through the tables. Seeing this the second guard back downed a little bit before he could run away I threw a punch in his gut making him fall on the spot.

Everyone was watching me with baffled expressions. Their eyes were wide open.

I walked towards Lucas and used gravity magic to make him fall on his knees.

"I have to deal with things more annoying than you, so you should stay away from me, and believe me it is for your good," I said to him while looking directly into his eyes.

"Sorry for all the trouble miss, I will pay for the damage," I said while looking at the mess I have created.

"Here" I handed over a few gold coins and walked away.

"You, you will pay for this, know your place peasant" Lucas said to me with a growl.

I stopped at my place and just turned my head and said
