Bella Notte

Chapter 5

Through the night, Y/n and Dabi walked through a neighborhood and talked about anything and everything. "But when she put that horrible muzzle on me-"

"Oh don't worry. I get the whole picture. Aunts. Cats. Muzzles. Well, that's what comes of tying yourself down to one family." Dabi said.

"Don't you have a family?" Y/n asked.

"One for every day of the week." Dabi chuckled. "The point is, none of them have me."

"I don't understand." Y/n muttered.

"It's simple. You see-" Dabi stopped and sniffed the air. "Hey. Something tells me it's suppertime. Come on. I'll show you what I mean."

Dabi and Y/n went up to a window and looked in.

"Take the Midoriyas here." Dabi said. "Tony, that's me, Mouse, makes this his Monday home."

"Monday home?"

"Ah, yeah. Monday's Mama Inko cooking the Katsudon." Dabi chuckled. "Delicious."

"Now, Bakugo's here is where Loki, that's me again, Mouse, comes on a Tuesday."

"On a Tuesday?" Y/n questioned.

"Yep. That's when they're having anything spicy." Dabi said and the two continued on their walk. "You see, Mouse, when you're footloose and collar-free, well, you take nothing but the best."

The two laughed at a joke that Dabi said when something caught his eye.

"Hey. Toga's!" Dabi cheered. "Of course. The very place for a very special occasion."

Y/n went to open the door, when Dabi stopped her.

"No, this way, Mouse. I have my own private entrance." Dabi said and went down the alley with Y/n slowly following him. They stopped by a box and Dabi whispered. "Wait here."

Dabi scratched on the door and a woman called.

"Just one minute! I'm coming. I'm-" The woman looked out the door and didn't see anyone. "What! Is today April Fools-"

Dabi rolled his eyes and barked at her.

"Oh, hello, Jet. Where have you been?" She giggled. She opened the door and took his face into her and squashed his cheeks. "Hey, Twicey, look who's here."

Twice came around the corner and gasped. "Well, what do you know? It's Jet!"

"Twicey, can you bring some bones for Jet before he eats me."

"What no you get it!" Twice shouted, but he quickly nodded and ran inside. Dabi barked and ran over to the box where Y/n was hiding behind. Toga looked behind the box and saw the german shepherd and gasped.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Toga gasped and squealed. "Hey, Twice, look. Jet has a new girlfriend."

Twice ran out and kneeled in front of Y/n.

"Well, a son of a gun. He's got a german girl." Twice cooed at her. Toga pet her and Y/n wagged her tail.

"Awww. She's so sweet, Jet." Toga said and then whispered to Dabi. "You take Toga's advice and settle down with this one."

Y/n sat next to Dabi.

""This one"?" Y/n asked.

"This one. This-" Dabi nodded but then his face turned slightly red and he looked the other way. "Toga, uh, you know. She's not so bright and she gets her words messed up." He finished and gulped.

Toga walked out with a barrel and a tablecloth on top of it.

"Now, first we make the table." Toga giggled and put down a candle and breadsticks.

"Here's your bones, Toga." Twice called and held out the bones.

"Okay, bones." Toga said and turned around towards him and gasped. "Bones?" She smacked the plate out of his hands. "What's the matter with you? I will stab you! Tonight, Jet, gets the best in the house."

Dabi chuckled and smiled at Y/n and she smiled back at him.

"Okay, Toga, you're the boss." Twice said and ran back inside. Toga huffed and pulled a menu for the two and placed it in front of them.

"Tell me, what's your pleasure? A la carte? Dinner?" Toga asked. Dabi and Y/n looked at the menu and Dabi barked at her. "Okay! Hey, Twicey. Jet says he wants one spaghetti speciale. Heavy on the meat balls."

Twice stirred the spaghetti and he called back.

"Toga, dogs don't talk."

"Well, he's talking to me." Toga pouted and crossed her arms.

"Okay, he's talking to you." Twice muttered and put the spaghetti on a plate. "You the boss."

Toga took the plate from him and walked back outside.

"Now here you are. The best spaghetti in town." Toga placed the spaghetti on their table and the two started to eat. Dabi nudged Y/n's shoulder and slurped up a piece, Y/n copied him and slurped one up also.

Toga came out with an accordion and started to sing, with Twice following with a ukulele.

"For this is the night, It's a beautiful night and we call it bella notte, Look at the skies. They have stars in their eyes, On this lovely bella notte."

Y/n licked up a noodle and munched on it, Dabi picked up another one but the noodle was the same one and the touched noses together. Y/n blushed and quickly pulled away.

"Side by side, with your loved one, you'll find enchantment here."

Dabi chuckled and pushed the last meatball towards her.

"The night will weave its magic spell, when the one you love is near, For, This is the night and the heavens are right."

Y/n's (e/c) eyes had a sparkle to them and she looked up at the moon and stars.

"On this lovely, Bella notte."
