**[Sorry I haven't been updating... Going through some stuff, and I haven't had the chance to be on anything electronic. (except for tech class but we've had constant projects, so I haven't used that for anything else.) So sorry and I hope you like this chap.]**
Yvonne's P.O.V.
"About two years after your mother gave birth to you, she met Len. Len was a regular werewolf who lost his first mate in a human attack, and had no children. He was a nice man, red hair, brown eyes, taller than your father that's for sure. He met her when your father took her to the park, so that she could calm down. Back then she started to cry randomly, and would become hysterical." He pauses for a moment.
Luis gets up and turns off the lamp light in the room, and takes off his glasses as he sits back down.
He continues, "Len had instantly became angered because obviously there was another man who had his arm around her, and growled at your dad. Your dad of course, smiled and said, 'It's cool, man. I can tell your her second chance mate. would you like to meet our daughter, while you talk to your mate?' Soon enough Len was in love with your mother, and loved you too, like his own daughter. Of course he soon cared for your father, and totally understood why he was mated to her. A month had gone by, still not knowing your momma's true state of mind, and mated her. He was utterly enslaved to her beauty, and how she seemed. However, the next day, when she awoke, she became mad with rage because he had marked her, and she hadn't realized it until then. She was upset because once your marked by your true mate, the other mark-if you had one-from another wolf would dissolve. So knowing that she wasn't a Luna, nor the mate to your father, she became depressed, and wouldn't look at Len for weeks. But only when she saw you, would she realize she still had a chance at being the top."
"So basically she was obsessed with power?" I ask, confused.
Luis replies gruffly, "Yes, in a way, but you see she's been in love with the idea of ruling a pack alongside the strongest, and handsomest man since she was a teenager."
"And she figured out that it was dad?" Again, I ask.
"Basically. Anyways your father kept in contact with Len, and became best friends. Soon enough your mother found out she was pregnant a good two weeks later. Her belly was showing, and she had at least three months left to go. She became erratic, to the point where your father had to come in and lie saying it was his, to make her eat healthier. She believed him, but he only mated her once, but her mind was in pieces and she chose to forget Len's existence. Now Len, though he regretted mating her, after finding the truth out by your father explaining it to him in graphic detail, was happy that he would have a child." My grandfather stops speaking for a moment, and grabs something that Belle handed to him, and left as he spoke earlier.
He hands it to me, and I look at a picture with my moms long brown hair, hazel eyes, to see her holding a small baby in her arms, and me next to her, peering down.
My mates squeeze my hands and shoulder, in reassurance. I sigh, and give it back to Luis, and look at him sadly.
"Three months later, a baby girl was born. Len had named her Lily, but your mother ignored him, and asked your father, what their baby's name should be. Len had left, when your father had come in, knowing your mother would go crazy with rage if he didn't. Your father didn't know that a name was already decided and had hummed, 'She is like a beautiful break in dawn, her hair brown, yet a shine of red, and her eyes a blue hinting pink. I think Dawn is as beautiful as she is, is she not?' With that your mother was immediately signed everything up, naming her Dawn. But then a year later, your mother had a crazed mental attack, and said things to Len who eventually killed himself, but I think she killed him because of how the room looked like. Your mother disappeared with Dawn-she would've took you but you were in daycare, and everyone knew only your father was aloud to sign you out-for a year. When she returned, Dawn was gone, and no one knew where she was. about several years later, your dad found out Dawn was in a foster home, but he wasn't allowed to adopt her because your mother had signed him the father, and the system didn't allow it. He asked everyone he knew, but they couldn't do it. So all he could do was keep an eye on her, and help her secretly. But then she and a few other kids in her foster home disappeared a year ago before your dad died."
"Have you figured out where she is?" I ask scared.
"Yup. She's in town, and a group of wolves are keeping an eye on them, just in case, but earlier there was a group of rogues chasing them, we took most of them out without being noticed or caught." Grandfather replies.
I nod, and tell him, "Then let's meet them."
We all get up, and head out the door, quickly transforming into our wolves, and sprinting into the woods.
