Tank mates can make your sorority pop or go pop so it's important to make sure that you do your research. You want fish that are slower moving, reletivly smaller than the betta, non-agresive, and not known as "fin nippers." My personal favorites are Harliquinn Rasporas, Neon Netras, and Ember Tetras. There are many more options but these are my favorite.
