Kaz: you had just moved to ketterdam and started working at a small coffee shop. Which kaz goes to get away from stress and just to think. He sees you and can't recall ever seeing you. He surveys you as you walk up to him take his order.
Like always he orders a black coffee. It goes on like this for several days. Until you spark conversation "I'm y/n" you say as you set down his coffee.
"Kaz, Kaz Brekker" taking a sip
Jesper: Kaz has recently recruited you and now Jesper is stuck with babysitting duty.
"I'm y/n" you held out your hand for him to shake. He takes your hand in his and introduces himself "so y/n why are you in katterdam?" He asks you.
"Well I was born and raised here. How bout you?"
"My dad sent me here to attend university."
"Well I guess that didn't happen," you laugh. He chuckled beside you
"Guess not,"
Inej: You, being Kaz's sister, we're in charge of recruiting someone to gather information. After you heard rumors that someone from the Menagerie has the necessities of the job you went to check for yourself Walking in and towards tante heleen office you felt like you were being watched. After taking your knife out of its holster. In one swift movement you pinned a girl with long black hair and flawless bronze skin under you. You held the knife to her throat so if she moved it would have killed her. Found her you thought to yourself.
