Three hundred years following the King's death an entity of darkness rose up against the Malari Empire, professing to be the Lord Archanist returned from the dead to exact revenge against the Empress that robbed him of his wife. The Death Mage brought with him an army of ten thousand, whose ranks were those of Umajha, Dolarions, dark paladins of shroud and shadow, and demons from Infernos.
The army was not easily turned aside, for as the men and women that were led by the Archanist fell in battle they were resurrected the eve following their death. The war raged for almost thirty years. In the end the army of the Dark Archanist was driven into the outer planes, into Infernos, where they were trapped for almost four hundred years. The body of the Lord Archanist was never found and it was believed that he had been destroyed in the explosion that tore open the rift between planes.
Three hundred years following the imprisonment of the Umajha of Shadow, one of many suitors approached the Empress, and like those before him, the suitor was turned away. Claiming to be the Lord Archanist that was said to have perished long ago, the suitor warned the Empress that if she would not share the throne with him, he would take it by force. Raising an army of mages, Dolarions, Dark paladins, and pirates, the Archanist initiated an assault against the Royal Kingdom by first infiltrating the Sanctum Sanctorum, then razing the harbor as a diversion with pirates that would, during the upheaval, kidnap the Empress and her Handmaidens.
In the end the Marauders came to the rescue of her Royal Majesty. Following a war that lasted almost ten years, the Archanist that claimed to be Mi'jhanth was captured and then beheaded. The head of the Archanist disappeared before the body could be cremated.
Five hundred years following, and the skull of the Archanist reappeared topping the staff of a Dark Umajha that claimed to be the Sorcerer Supreme. His title was not to be taken lightly, for professing to have the power of Mi'jhanth infused within his staff, the Archanist single-handedly killed thousands, before his reign of terror ended almost twenty years later. The Sorcerer Supreme would be cast into the outer planes once again, back into Infernos, his staff although unbroken would be without the talisman of power, and the skull of Mi'jhanth vanished without a trace.
There could be no dispute--)
(--Lord Aaros, You have a visitor. Advisor Ja'jhanna at present--)
"Thank you computer. Let her in." The man from Earth addressed the feminine voice beyond the cabin's ceiling. The images representing the history of Mi'jhanth faded into the circlet Donald was currently removing as the man rose from his recliner, and the Advisor stepped into his cabin.Although Donald had anticipated the presence of the woman standing beyond the threshold of the door, he was still taken aback when he saw her there.
There was something about this one that Donald couldn't put his finger on. She was enigmatic, a shadow radiating presence rather than persona. The woman's very essence summoned and eerily permeated the incomparable, the unexplained, and emanated prodigiously the nature of the extraordinary. The woman was inexplicably hidden behind robes and cloaks and veils of darkness that wrapped sinuously around her, like something alive, and in the same manner concealed her figure as well as her features.
She wasn't statuesque like most of the L'majha that Donald had seen, yet the cowl of the robe that covered the woman's head gave her the appearance of increased height. Dark robes that were in contrast to a well-obscured countenance of alabaster, and eyes that were of the deepest blue that Donald had ever seen. And somehow this was enough to make the woman appear somehow sensual, in as much as her strides were as graceful and fluid, like something akin to a gliding wraith.
