You sat on the deck of the small clippers, watching your boyfriend Edward mess around with the sails. " Y/ n can you come hold this for a second? I need to grab something below the deck. "He calls over his shoulder. You get up, and grab the item he was talking about, which was a rope. He runs below deck, and calls "ok pull the rope down." You do, and read the banner. You gasp, and look over your shoulder.
Edward is propped on one knee, holding a diamond ring. "Y/f/n, I know we haven't been together for years, but I can't describe how much my heart swells when I think of you, how lovesick I get when I spend time with you. I want to make you my wife. I want you to be Mrs. Y/n Kenway. Y/ n, will you marry me? " he says, his voice cracking a little. You nod, unable to speak due to the sheer joy. He slides the ring onto your finger, and picks you up and spins you around.
