THE ACTUAL RIDE TO THE GALA WAS RATHER LENGTHY.

in fact, you had almost fallen asleep numerous times. you didn't—of course, but you did end up resting against shoto's shoulder.

you-don't-know-how-many hours have passed, but regardless—the ride was over. you perked up as the carriage slowed to a stop.

you realized you hadn't looked out of the windows once this entire time and turned to see the rather extravagant venue you were approaching.

you bite your lip, squeezing shoto's hand; you didn't really know what to expect—at first, you were anticipating just a fun night with your friends, similar to your graduation, if a bit more sophisticated.
