I just walked inside and Cameron stopped me. "Oh, hey big bro, what's up?" I asked him while attempting to get around him so he wouldn't see the hickey.

I was messing with my hair, trying to make sure it was covered and he moved my hand, along with my hair. "Who did that?" he asked through gritted teeth.

"Did what?" I asked while shrugging as if I had no idea what he was talking about. "You know exactly what the hell I'm talking about so tell me now, Samantha!" He yelled and I rolled my eyes before walking away.

I went in my room and slammed my door loud enough for him to hear that I was upset. I was on my phone and seconds later, Cameron came upstairs.

"I know Hayes did that." he said. "Oh my god, Cam! Me and Hayes are just friends! How many times do I have to tell you that?" I yelled and he looked upset.

"Nash texted me and told me Hayes gave it to you so don't try lying when I already know the truth!" He screamed back, making me flinch.

"Why do you care anyways!? We are 14 it's not like we are gonna have sex." I mumbled.

"Exactly! You are 14 so don't act like a slut. I don't want you being around Hayes." He said and I stood up.

"You're not my mom and you're not my dad so don't tell me who I can and can't be around." I ask through gritted teeth.

"I'm so glad you're not my real sister." he mumbled and I don't think he knows I heard, but I did.

People always ask why I don't look like Sierra or my mom or Cameron, and it's because they adopted me when I was a baby. Sometimes I wonder why my real parents didn't want me, but I just get over it because I have the best family there is.

I had tears slowly starting to drop from my now red eyes. "I can't believe you just said that." I whispered and his eyes automatically softened. "Sam I'm sorry I didn't mean it." he said, trying to come closer to me.

"No, Cam. You wouldn't have said it if you didn't mean it. So save all the excuses. You know, out of the whole family, me and you had the strongest connection. Never in a million years did I think you would say that." I said and the tears were pouring now.

He tried to give me a hug and I pushed him off me. "I think you should leave." I mumbled and he nodded before getting out of my room.

I laid on my bed and just cried until I decided to call my mom.

She was currently on some business trip for work and should be back soon.

"H-Hey mom." I croaked into the phone. "Sweetie what's wrong?" she asked while sounding really concerned. "It's C-Cameron." I stuttered and she sighed. "Put him on the phone." she said in a demanding voice and I walked downstairs.

"Cameron, mom wants to talk to you." I said while wiping the tears off my face. He nodded and stood up from his bed.

All I heard was Cam's side of the conversation. "I messed up mom." he said into the line with tears pouring down his cheeks. "I'm so sorry." he spoke. "Yes ma'am. I love you too and I'll see you soon." he said and hung up before giving me my phone back.

I mumbled back a thanks before going into my room, but I heard the doorbell ring.

I walked downstairs and saw Sierra and Brent. I immediately tackled Sierra into a hug when I opened the door. "I missed you too." she said while laughing a little. When she saw I was crying, she asked for me to tell her why so we both went into my room.

"Cameron said he's glad I'm not his real sister." I mumbled and she dropped her jaw before hugging me and rubbing up and down my back. "Sam, you know he didn't mean it." she said, trying to comfort me.

"If he didn't mean it then why'd he say it?" I asked her and she shrugged. "Boys are stupid like that. They get mad a lot more then they realize." she said which made me laugh a little.

"But why was he mad in the first place?" She asked and I told her the whole thing between me and Hayes. "You're getting older, Sam. And you don't have a dad to be overprotective, so Cameron is trying to do it instead. He's scared about what's going to happen to his baby sister. He just has to learn to trust you and Hayes just like me and mom do." She said and I hugged her.

"You give such good advice." I said knee we pulled away and she flipped her hair. "I know." she said with a smirk. "Now I'm not saying to forgive him right away because I know it's gonna take some time, but just don't hold this against him forever." She said again.

"Now c'mon. Let's go get Starbucks or something." She suggested and I walked into my bathroom.

I brushed my teeth and hair which I straightened. I did my normal makeup and got my outfit which consisted of a tight, long sleeved, white shirt and a pair of floral shorts. I threw on a gold, dangly necklace, too.

I paired those with my white lace keds and grabbed my little nude colored bag before going back in my room to see Sierra waiting.

"You ready?" She asked and I nodded while I grabbed my phone.

"We will be back!" Sierra yelled as we walked out the door and shut it without even waiting for a response. "Next stop, deliciousness." she said, making me laugh.

I'm glad to have my big sister back for a little while.
